Would you call the mainstream media "reliable"? I don't think the real truth is available ANYWHERE. I think it's ALL slanted one way or another. I know for a fact the "news" can be anything but.

Truth is there, and using this forum as an example...truth is there but sometimes it is not what you want. If you only want YOUR truth, that is a problem.

We have become lazy and self centered in this country. The only effort we make is to validate OUR own truth. Media does not lie, but surely that truth comes wrapped in different wrappers and in many cases uses very deceptive headlines to "get you"

I feel a responsibility to present links and what I consider credible sources. I will not allow something sent to me by a person or org. To lead me to something to read. If I want facts and truth it is MY responsibility, so...this general condemnation of the "media" is not only insulting but serving a purpose for certain people or groups. It has roots in historical periods if you look it up..might scare you.

I am hoping that your question will lead to an actual discussion of both candidates proposals which is alway my goal, but in the past just got a bunch of snide comments.

We will see how this goes.

But then again, I do not think there is a cartoon that outlines economic policy proposals and cutting and pasting pics is your forte
