The ole boy was playing golf the other day, and two of his "Christian" friends were making racial slurs about Obama and at the same time practicing their profanity....Why is it necessary to be so partisan, aren't we all Americans FIRST!....I just don't get it!...Do they REALLY believe that Obama is trying to destroy America, I mean really?......:shrug:....May the best man win and God Bless America! Please leave your racism at HOME!

There are so many deep implications here that it would take all day to point them out and clarify the claims.

There are two implications here that stand out and need to be refuted.

One is the implication that everyone who claims to be a "Christian" is a racist and agrees with using racial slurs against Obama. To so blatantly imply that all Christians are racists who agree with or say racial slurs against Obama......is just like claiming that all Catholics are pedophile sex offenders because some priests are that.

Is that kind of logic "liberal", "tolerant", "accepting", "fair", and "open-minded" as liberals are supposed to be??

The other point I'll address is the one about "Do they REALLY believe Obama is trying to destroy America?".

This column addresses what we are witnessing in its fruition today, in 2012. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck:

"Combine class warfare, demonizing the rich, getting as many people onto the welfare rolls as possible, and pushing the economic system to collapse and you have a flawless formula for Cloward-Piven 2.0 -- and a vehicle that ensures Obama remains in power.

Cloward-Piven is a much talked-about strategy proposed in the mid-1960's by two Columbia University sociology professors named Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. The Cloward-Piven approach was sometimes referred to as the "crisis strategy," which they believed were a means to "end poverty."
The premise of the Cloward-Piven collective/anti-capitalist gospel decried "individual mobility and achievement," celebrated organized labor, fostered the principle that "if each finally found himself in the same relative economic relationship to his fellows ... all were infinitely better off."

The duo taught that if you flooded the welfare rolls and bankrupted the cities and ultimately the nation, it would foster economic collapse, which would lead to political turmoil so severe that socialism would be accepted as a fix to an out-of-control set of circumstances.

The idea was that if people were starving and the only way to eat was to accept government cheese, rather than starve, the masses would agree to what they would otherwise reject.

In essence, for the socialist-minded, the Cloward-Piven strategy is a simple formula that makes perfect sense; the radical husband-and-wife team had Saul Alinsky as their muse, and they went on to teach his social action principles to a cadre of socialist-leaning community organizers, one of whom was Barack Obama."

The race card as everyone has said is not the issue here it's obama. Unfortunately as others have said he is the one shoving it down our throat. The main issue is his obvious intent with this country. To bad some people use race as opposed to complaining about his actions but he plays the race card. The recent is his education funding.

Even thou Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan are NOT congress, they are vocal members of congress and have commented, that their single goal is to make Obama a one term President", correct me if I'm wrong!...and unless I have not been very clear, I have NO bias, I'm soooooo Independent, is that a bias? My bias is being American and wanting this country to rally out of this horrible recession, and it can only be done when we are working together and NOT politicizing EVERYTHING in this forum....A good example, I'm not sure I have ever read a post from RichieLion that was not hostile UNLESS he was responding to another Republican....Trust me, I have NOTHING against Republicans, if anything I embrace their views on welfare BUT NO PARTY has all the answers....Let's be understanding, thoughtful and receptive to others ideas....There has to be a grey area where we can all agree!...Please say YES!:shrug:

I share your disgust with the political arena and your disgust with racism.

I just need to point out a few things to you that are FACTS and not opinions.

Here is one reason that some of us get very upset ...you said ".I truly believe that this President has a congress that is "doing everything in their power to make him a one term president"

This quote of yours is just not factual....the JOBS bill that he is telling everyone that comes under that kind of statement was defeated by a DEMOCRATIC senate, but he, and now you, maintain the opposite. There are over 30 bills passed by the despicable Republican congress, many that are job creators, that Obama and Reid will NOT ALLOW DISCUSSION ON in the senate because they came from the other side....all of this and more and yet you imply just the opposite. If you need validation for what I say let me know...there is a lot of it.

In addition, as regards to race, I have yet in the public eye seen anyone, other than the Harry Reid comments early on, mention the Presidents race at all. It is brought up almost entirely by his own party or him himself. I am sure that privately jokes are made but do you recall the "dumb George Bush" jokes MADE ON THE CONGRESSIONAL FLOOR by Nancy Pelosi.

There are many many more examples but your post is laced with bias, whether you intended or not. The main problem is that we are in a era of the internet...so many people and if you read posts on here you can pretty much id them, receive tweets and feeds from selected sites that will satisfy their need to win or be in the right. They read nothing else but that...never verify anything and simply accept what the selected sources say and most times it is just garbage...either out and out lies or out of context stuff.

If your intent was to have people say..too bad...sorry from this corner...I agree with your disgust of the system and how the media and other sources skew everything but you come here with an obvious bias, which is fine....but as a poster said recently...he just did not like phoneys and your posts is of that mold, I am sorry. If I am wrong, I apologize but your post is laced with untruths so not sure what else to think.

PS...This is not an eyes closed defense of the other party in congress, but it needs to be clarified that our current President has and continues to play the race, class warfare game constantly and although he has said he will and can bring people together, I submit to you and again can show facts, he does not nor has he ever tried.

Obama Has Been a Disaster-Its A BadTime To Be An America

You know that Obama commercial that says "Its a Bad Time To Be A Woman". Well its a Bad Time To Be An American and especially an American that pays taxes.

We have all seen the movie "The Sting". "The Sting" is just not a movie, it occurs every single day. Just look back at the number of warnings we all get about scams here in TheVillages. When the communist began taking control of of Eastern Europe they used what expertsreferred to as "the salaimi tactic" meaning that they were taking away Eastern eEropeans freedoms one slice at a time so their actions would go unnoticed.

Obama moves in pretty much the same manner and like a scammer he uses certain populist phrases, words or notions. For instance as to the defense cuts (sequesteration) he claims it is because Republicans won't come to the table. But the fact is that he had long ago talked about billions and billions of dollars being cut from defense in order to support his entitlement programs. Cuts by the way that would leave us more vulnerable than we have been for many years.

Obama holds a disdain for colonalization, a belief formed when he lived in Kenya and Indonesia, etc. Hence he hates Brtian and America's past. If you will recal he demonstrated his dislike for Britian immediately by returning the bust of Winston Churchill and offending the Queen with a ridiculious gift and critcising Britian battle with Argentina. His disdain for America began with his claiming we are not exceptional and for aplogizing all over the world to our enemies and past and present.

I could go on but it is clear he wants to reshape America and has no understanding that our way of life prior to his election amounted to the greatest society to exist on this planet as recorded history would reflect.
Because of this didain, his ineperienceand his weak character Obama will do greater damage if he is re-elected.

I can't say that the OP didn't hear racial slur. Nor can I say that what was said were intended to actually be racial slurs. What I can say with certainty is that since Obama came to the forefront I have not heard one person use a racial slur. Now I have heard plenty of insults regarding his abilities and I have heard and witness Obama/Holder over-react when situation involve blacks (panther, Gates, .
etc)

Liberals delude themselves when it comes to Obama, his abilities and his policies. I served under Managers who fit the "Peter Principle" and as sure as the sun sets and rises these guys would fail. for instance the first thing they all did was produce more forms... sound like Obama. You betch-a
