There is never any question that all the "anchor babies" born here in the USA to Mexican or other foreign national mothers are "natural born" citizens of this nation. If the babies were not considered natural-born citizens, they would have to become "naturalized" citizens" of the nation by going thru the naturalization process.

Marco Rubio was born here and therefore did not have to become a "naturalized" citizen.

No vice presidential candidate on a losing ticket has later been elected president with one exception - Franklin Roosevelt in 1920.

See: Sarah Palin, John Edwards, Joe Lieberman, Jack Kemp, Dan Quayle, Lloyd Bentsen, Geraldine Ferraro, Bob Dole, Ed Muskie, et al., et al.

Senator Marco Rubio was born in the USA. He is a "natural-born" citizen, NOT a "naturalized" one.

Well, ilovetv, you will have to harken back to the Birther movement and arguements of Oily Taitz who claimed that Pres. Obama is not a natural born citizen of the USA because his father was not a US citizen at the time time of Pres. Obama's birth.

The Birthers will do anything to try and discredit Pres. Obama but when it comes to one of their own (Marco Rubio) they will say it does not count.

Rubio will NOT be the VP - too many skleletons in his closet.

It's the Senator from Ohio - unless Willard is in a real mavericky mood, then he'll pick a woman. But, the only R female that has been vetted thoroughly is Kay Bailey. But, Willard doesn't need a Texan - he needs Ohio.

None of the arguments about Obama centered on his father's foreign citizenship. The arguments centered on whether he truly was born in Hawaii....or in Kenya and then his mother "registered" his birth in Hawaii.

The arguments were also whether he gave up his U.S. citizenship in Indonesia when his mother married Soetero, and BHO was known in school records as "Barry Soetero", and he had an Indonesian passport with which he allegedly travelled to Pakistan in 1981 when Pakistan was a no travel zone in 1981 for American Citizens. And in 1981, Pakistan was not allowing American Citizens to enter their country.
