I’m coming up on my 1st anniversary here. Hard to believe I could go an entire year doing NOTHING I didn’t want to do.

So after a year there is there NOTHING you regret with your decision?

Took me about 7 months before I realized not remembering what day of the week it is means NOTHING.

I would think knowing what day it was would be important to know what specials there are at the buffet. Then again NOTHING really matters when you're retired.

Past my bedtime and I have nothing left to say, but I hope the rest of you continue on.......with nothing.

I do miss being at work. It gave me purpose. I was really good at what I did. Everyone looked up to me to solve their problems. But, my job was physical and I couldn’t do it anymore without pain. Too many hours, too much commuting time. I regret NOTHING because it was time.

I am so looking forward to retiring but I'm already thinking about what to do when I do. That's why we're leaning heavily toward the Villages. Plenty to do, at least it seems.

I can't imagine sitting around doing NOTHING. My wife is already falling apart and will welcome the warmer weather.

NOTHING is permanent. Just because you’re retired doesn’t mean you can’t work part time or whatever. My wife just got a part time gig working for the CDD’s. Keeps her busy when she’s not doing fun activities.

NOTHING is as priceless as keeping the women busy.

Yeah, my wife has been a nurse for 35 years. I'm sure if she wants something to do there will be NOTHING standing in her way.

Me on the other hand will embrace doing NOTHING in a semi active way. I really just can't wait to drive around in a golf cart.. lol
