Sometimes we need a power greater than ourselves just to deal with daily life. If you need it, call on it. Knowing God and connecting with God are 2 different things. If you know Him but aren't connecting with Him then you are missing out on the best part.

In retrospect, I should have given you a pass on this. There's NOTHING like being the outlaw with a bunch of in-laws. It certainly can make one a little cranky at times. Glad to see you are at least able to break away once in awhile and visit NOTHINGVILLE.

Our 6 month old Kitchen Aid refrigerator has sounded like a
SST coming in for a landing at JFK these past 3 days. NOTHING would sound better than getting a call from the repairman. But, ‘tis the season for NOTHING this week. So, here I sit, trying to watch A Christmas Story in silence, but NOTHING like that for me tonight. Hopefully I’ll get to sleep tonight and dream of me
and my Red Ryder air rifle picking off sparrows and robins in my backyard.

NOTHING tiny birdies?

You all know the real meaning of Christmas has NOTHING to do with Santa Claus or gifts under a tree. It is instead about one gift, given to all mankind by God, and that gift is Jesus. It is a gift that doesn't come and go. It does not perish or lose it's value in time. It is the gift that can lead us all to eternal life.

So in remembrance of that miraculous baby in a manger and what He represents, and in keeping with the theme of NOTHINGVILLE, here are a few things that Jesus has said, or that have been said about Him, regarding NOTHING -

“Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. NOTHING will be impossible for you.” (Matt 17:20)

"NOTHING outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.” (Mark 7:15)

"There is NOTHING concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known." (Luke 12:2)

"Through him all things were made; without him NOTHNG was made that has been made." (John 1:3)

"The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for NOTHING. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life." (John 6:63)

There are many more NOTHINGS in that greatest of books, the Bible. Christ came into the world to turn all of our NOTHINGS into something. And that, my friends, is the real reason for the season.

Well there are some Canadians on TOTV but Barefoot only has the worst to say about what goes on in the Political Forum but Nucky might convince her to give it another look. And Golfing Eagles looked at this Forum once and never game back. Only Barefoot and Fireboy are Canadians but we may get more people on NOTHING.

Unless the post count on NOTHING is just coming from the six or so REGULAR NOTHINGs there are many lurkers reading NOTHING.

I concur with K, Tal on double secret probation until he can prove his non-NOTHINGNESS will be kept off NOTHING for his probation period, a minimum of 100 quasars ( as per the manifesto ). Abby will then conduct a performance review. Upon her recommendation or not will the founding members take a vote.
