Default Presidential paranoia: Does Mueller have a mole in the White House?

“I think Trump is temperamentally inclined toward conspiracy theories and, at the same time, disinclined to do the work of studying matters fully,” Says Michael D’Antonio, the author of Trump biographies. “It takes a flexible, curious mind to seek out competing ideas and weigh them. Then it takes even more rigor to fashion a complex solution to a vexing problem. It’s much easier to listen to one or two voices who affirm your preconceptions and dismiss all others because they are somehow against you.” From the New York Times: Life in the White House is shadowed by the investigation. Not only do Mr. Trump, Mr. Kushner and Mr. McGahn all have lawyers, but so do other senior officials. The uncertainty has grown to the point that White House officials privately express fear that colleagues may be wearing a wire to surreptitiously record conversations for Mr. Mueller. This fear among Trump’s aides and lawyers is a reflection of the frequent leaking to the press from people privy to sensitive meetings, as well as “the culture of paranoia that has gripped this White House and the culture of conspiracy theories that Trump has fostered.” Trump White House’s fear of wiretapping

Trump is usually found to be correct in his statements, such as being wire tapped by the last administration, for example. The left would love to paint a different picture. A form of vindication for being massacred in the last election.

And some think this situation is specific to the current administration??
Nice try.

How sad that you don't even realize that A) Trump wasn't the one being wiretapped, it was Manafort, and the wiretaps started long before Trump even announced he was running. And B) The FBI can request and be granted a warrant to monitor a US person from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court "if they can show probable cause that the target is an 'agent of a foreign power' who is 'knowingly engaging…in clandestine intelligence activities.'"
So, not only was Trump not wiretapped, but there is plenty of reason to believe Manafort (like Flynn) engaged in treasonous behavior. As Trump says, he hires "only the best people".

Interesting how suddenly Clapper is admitting that Trump may have been wire tapped. Perhaps he is taking doses of Ginko Biloba and has had a miracle recollection? Totally different from his testimony under oath where he adamantly denied that Trump had been wire tapped. Be careful how you answer this one because the way things are going, you may find a bit of egg on your face.
