Thank you, you made my point.

Personal Best Regards:

Dear Guest: So are you saying that progressives realize what they are attempting to do and are doing is wrong and not good but they will continue to ignore sage advice acting like recalcitrant children rather than adults? Is this why abortions continue? Is this why the criminality of Planned Parenthood is protected? Is this why Obamacare was enacted? Is this why progressives continue down the road to socialism? Is this why are immigration policy, defense policies and foreign policies have left us exposed to our enemies and/or have illegals continue to drain our financial resources?

Personal Best Regards:

or changing the topic to "climate change" or "gun control"---much more important than getting your head chopped off by ISIS or nuked by Iran

But, you do not understand. Climate change caused ISIS to chop off heads of infidels. And climate change was caused by Bush. And because it is legal to purchase guns in America, the terrorists are able to arm Allah's warriors. If America had a gun ban then ISIS would have to resort to bombs and airplanes to kill the infidels. Oh, they already do..................my bad.

I wasn't there. Very good news. Next thing you know, you will be smart enough to be a born again conservative.

Why ould someone have to be conservative to be a born again Christian? Personally, I was baptized a Christian as a child, kept my faith and increased it. I am a liberal.

Jesus was a liberal, too.

Look up in your New Testament all the liberal things Jesus did and His liberal lessons. Tell me your views that Jesus was or was not a liberal and why.

Next, tell me how the conservatives of today are Christian-like when they want to strip benefits from welfare programs.

Jesus did not deal with earthly politics---and thus was neither liberal or conservative. That's a label we humans put on his teachings. He was pretty clear when he said "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and render unto God that which is God's"

Start a new thread if you wish to debate religion. But, I will say that Christians DO NOT believe in killing babies. If you think that by associating Jesus with being a liberal justifies socialism, then you are desperate.

Jesus was not in politics. Jesus believed in charity, not income distribution.

If Jesus was a liberal, then Hitler was a Democratic Socialist. Ooops, he was.

Not only do rich conservatives pay the most taxes, but conservatives also donate more to Charity than liberals.

The teachings and actions of Jesus were liberal as we know liberal actions and teachings. You are absolutely wrong when you say Jesus' actions were just a label.

Now, answer the second part - how are the conservatives of today Christian-like when they want to strip away welfare programs for the poor?

Instead of diverting the thread to religion, why not answer why you would vote for a scumbag criminal like Hillary?

By "by stripping away welfare programs of the poor" it allows the poor to become self-sufficient and no longer poor. But, that has nothing to do with religion. If you want to know why the poor are not being fed by churches, then ask the church.

Why are liberals so willing to dedicate other folks' money to the poor but will not donate their own to the poor? Since you find a need to compare Christianity to subsidy, then why are you defeating your own argument of trying to associate yourself with Christianity, by proving that if one does not give their money to the poor, then they must not be Christians. Therefore, since liberals are stingy with their tax money, then they must not be Christians, right?

That should have been an easy answer for a liberal, but........zzzzz

Guest 12-19-2015 08:52 AM

If we continue to feed, clothe and house the poor, they will always be poor. We need to somehow get them to work and support themselves. I have yet to see the first Section 8 housing project that worked. Yes, I was raised in the country and we were very poor by today's standards, but we didn't know it because we always had lots of food to eat and clothes to wear. Our food came from our garden and our clothes came from second hand stores. We never lived on welfare.

"Ted Cruz advocates carpet bombing as Republicans differ over how to defeat Isil" I guess killing innocent woman, children, and men is okay. He is such a great christian!
