Below is post from another thread posted awhile back. At first I just dismissed it as another internet smear. But then I read it again and decided I would investigate the claims. Please remember that Obama is not my candidate.

My concern is this..we should choose our president on the issues not on smears and innuendo. I would like to point out that Obama is NOT the first person to be at the wrong end of one of these.

Examples:

Ann Richards..During the Governor's race Karl Rove spread the rumor that Ann was a lesbian..she was a mother and grandmother..she lost.
Max Cleland...A Vietnam vet in Congress who lost 3 limbs in the war. Ralph Reed spread the rumor that Max had tried to blow himself up...he lost.
John McCain...Rove was at it again in the South Carolina presidental primaries. He spread the rumor that McCain had a black baby...that girl is the baby the McCain's adopted from India. He lost.

So here are the answers I could find.....

HIS FATHER WAS A BLACK AFRICAN MUSLIM FROM KENYA. WE HAVE
SEEN PICTURES OF HIS AFRICAN FAMILY.

HIS MOTHER WAS A WHITE AMERICAN ATHEIST FROM KANSAS. WHERE
ARE THE PICTURES OF HIS AMERICAN FAMILY?

Google Obama's grandmother pictures...you can get just
about anything on the Net.They are all there.

HIS FATHER DESERTED HIS MOTHER WHEN HE WAS ONLY TWO YEARS
OLD AND WENT BACK TO AFRICA BY WAY OF HARVARD UNIVERSITY.
HOW? WAS HIS FATHER WEALTHY?

Most likely a scholarship? I got one of those once.

HIS MOTHER MARRIED AN INDONESIAN MUSLIM AND THEN MOVED TO
JAKARTA WHERE HE WAS ENROLLED IN A MUSLIM SCHOOL.

He was never enrolled in a Muslim school he was enrolled
in a public school and later in a Catholic school. This
issue was totally debunked after having be reported by
that "Fair and Balanced" Station.

WHEN HE REACHED HIGH SCHOOL AGE HIS MOTHER SENT HIM TO

Only in this political environment can someone give up and high paying
job to go into public service and that it not a good thing.

THE PRESIDENCY IS NOT A CIVIL RIGHTS POSITION, NOR IS IT
SUBJECT TO AFFIRMATIVE ACTION SET ASIDES; ON-THE-JOB
TRAINING WON’T CUT IT.

This is a racist statement the terms here are only used because Obama is African American. My only comment.... Bill Clinton. Governor and then President. He left office with a balanced budget and a surplus.

HE ENTERED POLITICS AT THE STATE LEVEL AND THEN THE
NATIONAL LEVEL WHERE HE HAS MINIMAL EXPERIENCE.

He has years at the local level, in Springfield and in the US Senate.


HE IS PROUD OF HIS ‘AFRICAN HERITAGE’ (A FATHER
WHO GOT A GIRL PREGNANT AND DESERTED HER).

He is proud of his heritage just as I am in my Irish
heritage..but that does not mean he is proud of what
his father did. He often speaks about making sure his
children have the father that he did not.

WHERE IS THE PRIDE IN HIS ‘WHITE HERITAGE’? (A
MOTHER WHO FLAUNTED CONVENTION AND DID NOT BELIEVE IN GOD).

What? The "sins" of the mother should be visited on the son.
Since when has it been bad to flaunt convention I find it fun.
He honors his grandmother by visiting her..she still lives in a 500 sq ft
home in Hawaii not far from Queens Hospital. He visited his
grandfather this time at the Punchbowl National Cemetery

SOME MIGHT THINK THERE WAS NOT MUCH TO BE PROUD OF EITHER WAY.

‘AFRO-CENTRIC’ CHURCH IN CHICAGO THAT HATES WHITES,

HE COULD NOT CONFRONT HIS PASTOR BUT HE WANTS US TO BELIEVE
HE CAN CONFRONT NORTH KOREA AND IRAN? YEAH Right

This is sad...his pastor brought him to Christ, married him and
baptisted his children..he was like the father he never had.
It would be difficult for anyone in his shoes to do what he
had to do...he did it denounced the past and left the church.

DURING HIS VERY BRIEF TIME IN THE UNITED STATES SENATE HE
HAS MANAGED TO AMASS THE NUMBER ONE ULTRA LIBERAL VOTING
RECORD OUT OF THE ONE HUNDRED MEMBERS.

Actually, he is a moderate, 39 senators are more liberal than Obama. Seem only one report has him as the most liberal..I wonder which one that would be.
