If by rabid Romney distractor, you mean Karl Rove and Charles Krauthammer, you are correct. Both criticized Mitt Romney for his remarks in London. Watch Krauthammer's remark here:

Whatever. There still is practically nobody else who has a greater knowledge and stature to make singular comments on the logistical concerns of an Olympics.

Come November (probably by next week, really) this will be a footnote, and unimportant to anyone except the most rabid Romney detractor.

I just do not see the stature of Mitt Romney. He is hardly of more stature than many of the various Republican and Democratic candidates who have run for President over the past 60 years. He still has to win to get stature. I would rather hear what John McCain, Al Gore, Jr., John Kerry, or any other past candidate had to say about the London Olympics.

I also re-iterate that Mitt Romney probably has not seen any of the massive amount of paperwork done on the London Olympics. He is running for President of the United States and is probably concentrating on that.

None of the people you name has anywhere near the Olympic stature of Gov. Mitt Romney who is credited by all, except the most partisan leftists, with saving the Salt Lake Olympics and thus it cannot be denied that he has the inside track on reviewing the logistical planning of an Olympic event.

You've lost total focus here.

Hope his wife's horse does better. I wonder who gets the medal if the horse wins??

WHOA, Google broke?

Generally, with the exception of equitation all awards go to the horse (horse's owner). The Olympics are the exception in that all awards go to the rider regardless of who owns the horse.

FWIW That horse is not winning.
