He KNEW there was an easier way.... "President Trump revealed highly classified information to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador in a White House meeting last week, according to current and former U.S. officials, who said Trump’s disclosures jeopardized a critical source of intelligence on the Islamic State. The information the president relayed had been provided by a U.S. partner through an intelligence-sharing arrangement considered so sensitive that details have been withheld from allies and tightly restricted even within the U.S. government, officials said. The partner had not given the United States permission to share the material with Russia, and officials said Trump’s decision to do so endangers cooperation from an ally that has access to the inner workings of the Islamic State. After Trump’s meeting, senior White House officials took steps to contain the damage, placing calls to the CIA and the National Security Agency." Trump revealed highly classified information to Russian foreign minister and ambassador - The Washington Post billethkid I am sorry for sharing facts with you....I know that just does not set well with you |

What is the problem with turning this around? Is it possible that we put a bug on the Russians while they were at ease when they made it to the promised land, The Oval Office? Maybe while they sat down a listening device was planted on them. I have no proof, just a thought. If you think its not possible your nuts.

Totally Agree with Trump....he must be the source of the leaks!

If he's guilty then get him out. Until he's found guilty let him work. Respect, try it, it feels good. Desperate about what? Legal he stays, Not legal get out! Is that clearer? |

Trump passing intelligence to the Russians is a normal operation. That is a day to day operation that happens all over the world. Tit for tat and all that. Leaks by liberal spies in the White House is a felony. It is a shame how nasty Democrats have become. My family was Democrat for generations, but now there is absolutely no commonality with the radical left that goes under the guise of Democrat. There used to be issues that we had common views on, but now, no matter what one party says, the other will take the opposing view. The Democrats are dead to me. I no longer see anything we have in common. They are racists, UN-Patriotic, UN-lawful and deniers of the Constitution. There will be no future discussions, just adversity. That is what happens when they are takers instead of givers. They do not support our troops, our law enforcement officers, our laws or ANY religious beliefs. They are led by a communist pig, Soros and are so ignorant of his influence and financing that they adamantly deny he exists.
Liberals are so miserable that they hate America and wish to change it into a European satellite state. Better yet, a socialist/communist union so that they can have the gov make all their decisions for them. Adult babies. If you are a liberal and an atheist, then you have nothing that you stand up for. You have no goals and no beliefs. You are dead. |

NO President shares top secret information without lengthy and long detailed batting of the situation, the individuals who might get it and many long procedures. OF THIS I AM SURE, and it has always been that way so wherever you get your information is very flawed, and of that I am 100% positive. Something I have always wanted to say on here. Posters, especially the brain dead who refuse to accept the fact our President is a proven liar and criminal, both before and since the election, keep speaking of some liberal rut over the election, YET... I NEVER READ THE ELECTION BROUGHT UP EXCEPT BY TRUMP SUPPORTERS. THEY appear to have stopped Tim in Nov 2016 and refuse to accept anything that has happened since. ALL...EVERY SINGLE..instance that has gotten Trump in trouble....EVERY SINGLE BIT is the action of Trump himself. Actually, liberals have behaved more adult like that Trump since the election. You who keep speaking of the past...Obama, Clinton or whatever are making fools of yourself. Trump is ruining himself, you, the Republican Party and the country all by himself. He is destroying any chance of getting any good strong legislation passed, because of HIS ACTIONS, nobody else. If even 65% of Powhatan we read is true, he is single handily handing the reins of government over to the Democrats. You sound infantile in what you think is fact about sharing of intelligence, and even more so with your comments about the past. The past is the past..step forward from the election...no liberal in congress has done one single thing to even slow down Trump. Outside noise is just that...do some research on the comments right after Obama election or the Bush election. NOBODY IS DOING A THING TO TRUMP....ALL SELF INDUCED. By the way, I lived the sharing of secrets between countries but will search to see if I can find something to prove how inane your remarks are. |

Just quickly because most of the procedures are closely held, but I assure you...it is not a "normal procedure"
"Classified information is typically shared after considerable government deliberation since, as the Nixon anecdote illustrates, such disclosures risk undermining the work of intelligence officials and endangering national security. And it’s another matter entirely “when the United States shares another country’s secret information”—as opposed to its own—without that country’s permission, Naftali explained. “The U.S. government does that very, very, very rarely” since it can jeopardize intelligence sources and the intelligence-sharing relationship as a whole." How it works: intelligence sharing with other countries - The Boston Globe "Few doubt that President Trump had the legal right to share highly-classified US intelligence information with Russian diplomats during a meeting last week. But to understand why it still might not have been a good idea, it’s important to consider the established ground rules of “intelligence sharing.” That’s the vital but little-discussed practice in which allies — and sometimes adversaries — agree to exchange secret information, under strict conditions." |

Look pal, you can post all the crap you want. He can do what he did.....it is absolutely extraordinarily rare. The "Five Eyes Alliance" will not be happy, and I KNOW information from them will slow and we will get less. You wanting to blindly love this crook is blinding you from facts. Nobody said he could not do what he did. It was stupid, and should petrify anyone who is Ann American |
I suggest you read this link...very very general, but may help you understand the uproar.
"The Five Eyes, often abbreviated as FVEY, is an intelligence alliance comprising Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. These countries, all Anglophone and ruled by a common law legal system, are bound by the multilateral UKUSA Agreement, a treaty for joint cooperation in signals intelligence.[1][2][3]" Five Eyes - Wikipedia |

People who speak in absolutes usually appear to me as unintelligent dolts with a poor grasp of the English language. A person doesn't need to engage in Bayesian probabilistic reasoning to arrive at every single belief (in fact, it's too slow and mentally taxing to do so). But it doesn't take a genius to recognize the fact that there are very few self-evident propositions (in fact, one could intelligibly argue, "we probably don't know anything with 100% certainty - including this very assertion, of course). It just chafes me the wrong way when people speak absolutes and actually believe the statements coming from their lips. I've heard multiple people state (and try to seriously argue) that all generalizations are false. On the other hand, I have no problem if a person is speaking in absolutes in a joking manner. Have you talked this way your whole life? Are you college educated? |

1. I have supplied you with factual reading on the subject, which you obviously have not read. 2. I lived this process in late 50s to early 60's and know it quite well. 3. Because of my exposure, I keep tabs on what I can( obviously minimal) and know how it works. 4. Before you break your smart ass bone, nobody said the President could not do this...EVER. It is simply being pointed out that it is BEYOND highly unusual, and even more "newsworthy" because the country supplying this info, the city it was sourced from, etc was revealed. And it was revealed to Russia, who last time we hated in 2016, they used such info to bomb our allies. Russia is not our friend, and we should use extreme caution with them. This is not smart and certainly not in the interest of our country. |

He is an expert with "50 years experience in the political arena"... He used to be screen name Bucco on here. He claims he was a republican and criticized Obamma "relentlessly"... The liberals on here threatened him via PM, he pussed out and left for a while. He came back as Rockface, a liberal, and has been criticizing the GOP for the last year. With his expert knowledge; in the last election, he decided it would be best to vote for someone that was not even a candidate for president (Dopey Smurf). He does not feel there has been a good president since Eisenhower, none of the contemporary era presidents are, or have been, good enough for him. It did not matter who got elected, he was going complain non stop about their every move too... Everyone of his posts are negative, many of them have copy and paste opinions that he agrees with, and feels we need to read it (in bold and red ink). He has a hard on for Gracie and Rubi...he can't help but comment on each and everyone of their posts - negatively. He used to be super critical on conservatives forgetting to include a link, I pointed out he was not complaining about the liberals not providing links... He then changed to being critical on lying, till I caught him lying (he said "honestly, I don't mean to pick on you" to Rubi and then went on to pick on him personally)...and now that obsession has seemed to die down too. Lately he has been whining about vulgar language. He does not like "locker room talk", I get the feeling he is a girly man... In short he is just a long winded old fool... |
