for the sake of the dems party message the word extremist has been refined to mean ANYONE that has an opposing view and especially those who in fact are willing to do something to fix what is wrong in America.

I in fact consider myself a budget extremist by the dems accusations.
I do not believe there is ANY excuse for not having a budget. There is no such thing as not being able to balance a budget....it is as simple as 1 + 1 = 2!!!!
There is no such thing as not reducing or eliminating spending.

There is no dialogue that would include excuses why the task at hand cannot be met.

One cannot conduct fiscal responsibility and worry about being popular or worry about hurting someone's feelings.

And the advantage we had in corporate America is that if those responsible cannot/could not/would not accomplish the task we would get some one who could/would.

Lead, follow or get out of the way!!

By the new definition of budget extremist, I am proud to be one!!

Get Out of the Bubble

Far too many Village residents fail to make friends with people who live and work outside the bubble. And no, Bailey Plaza and your server or barber do not count. They will always tell you what they think you want to hear. I have made a number of friends outside the Villages - working people and they and their facebook friends are much more enthused about Ryan than they ever were about Romney. I have two sons in the military, one in the reserves and the other in Afghanistan. They and those around them are absolutely for Romney/Ryan and against Obama/Biden.

Try making friends and involving yourself in activities outside the bubble. Ask your children and grandchildren whether or not they expect to ever receive a dime from Social Security. You may discover that the resentment against Obama and the lack of opportunity is much greater than the pollsters would have you believe.

You do get around.

"Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's selection of Congressman Paul Ryan as his running mate looks like a safe choice right now in Florida and other swing states, according to a new survey from Purple Poll.

Most intriguing in Florida: Romney's ticket is deadlocked with President Obama's over Medicare, 44-45%, even though Ryan is the father of he so-called "Ryan plan," which Democrats hae villified for two years for "ending Medicare." It doesn't. But the plan does end Medicare's traditional structure starting in 2022 by giving new recipients a voucher-like premium, the growth rate of which would be capped. That could lead to more out of pocket expenses for seniors.

Still, the numbers indicate the public-relations problems with ObamaCare, which fired up the right in 2010, trimmed $700 billion from future Medicare expenses and caused seniors to leave Democratic candidates in droves."

You forgot to mention that the "Ryan Plan" also lowers Mitt Romney's effective tax rate to .82%. It's no wonder that Romney thinks the plan is "mah-ve-lous".

Yes, someone asked you to clarify that but I missed your response to that particular post.

And again, I know this is difficult, but the Ryan plan is a PLAN a roadmap...it is not our budget or tax policy.

Oh, thats right we have NO budget anymore and if we get poor, tax the rich...excuse me

The CBO estimated that one version of Ryan's plan, passed by the House last year, would increase retirees' out-of-pocket medical costs by about $6,400 annually.
I read the CBO report in the link below and it did not say anything like that. From what this knuckle dragger can tell it will decrease by 15%.
Now I have to say that I don't really have any faith in either number because I think they really don't know. But either way, I can't find that your claim is true. Do you have a link to your report?
