It surprises me that the murder of an employee (of a privately owned entity) would garner more reward than a fallen police officer.

Both are sad events...

Lets look at it:

The Emancipation Proclamation did NOT free the slaves. It freed the SOUTHERN slaves of the Confederate States. There were still plenty of slaves in the north.

In 100 years, the negro COULDN'T make it. "Discrimination", segregation, is because of how they ACT. Nobody on the entire planet wants to be around them. They had 100 years to prove themselves...thay haven't. The Italians did, the Irish, the Chinese, all treated as "slaves" yet as a people rose to become productive, accepted citizens...WHY didn't the blacks? Because they are NOT capable.

That AA cop, probably got in via a quota and as such, should be grateful to me for paying his undeserved salary that a white man deserves more because he didn't need a quota and was booted because of one.

I am a supporter of free speech. Often, "ART?" is used as an EXCUSE to offend. If, you BELIEVE that ART should exist on public property PAID FOR WITH TAXPAYER MONEY, is there no place that you would ADMIT it has crossed a line? You suggest that some believe some cops are racially biased. Under, politically correct standards we have removed fairly common artworks showing blacks as stupid etc. FOR ME RULES OF PROPRIETY RULES OF POLITICALLY CORRECT SHOULD AND MUST APPLY TO ALL.

RE: RACIAL BIAS
I don't know your history but I've been in places such as HARLEM and the SOUTH BRONX. Call me prejudiced, call me a bigot-I TRULY DO NOT CARE. When driving in such an area I will be damn sure that I am not caught in a pack of cars. I will be the first on at the light so I can get away.

While I did not vote for Obama, as the first Black president the American people gave Obama a unique opportunity to address racial issues. Rather than to make things better, Obama CHOSE to fan embers of racism into forest fires.
Can things ever be perfect-OF COURSE NOT. If, two people come up for a job one black one white. If, the black person gets the job the white person will say affirmative action. If, the white person gets the job the black person will say racism. The real reason will never be known. Am I prejudiced? I've asked myself the same question. People VOTE and THINK what was fed to them in HISTORY CLASS was or is real. We and frankly the world accepted slavery as normal. If, you wanted to learn a trade-EDUCATION so that you could earn a living-your parents would have an agreement BASED ON HONOR, where you would be an APPRENTICE for 7 years. Essentially you were a SLAVE for 7 years. There was no mention of how many hours you would work, quality of food, where you would sleep etc. Many people came to this country as indentured servants-MANY OF THEM WERE IRISH DUE TO LACK OF FOOD IN IRELAND. You were a SLAVE for 14 years. We dare not mention it but about 10% of the slave owners were BLACK.
In the south 1/3 of the population were black slaves. We probably all have been told the Lincoln Emancipation Proclamation freed the slaves. THINK AND REALIZE-at the time Lincoln gave that speech he was not even the president of the south-JEFFERSON DAVIS was. Lincoln's goal was to start slave uprisings that the south would have needed to take troops out of combat to put down slave revolts-IT DID NOT WORK.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH-that painting should be burned not taken down and rehung. PROBLEM SOLVED.

I find it offensive to hear someone at another table in a restaurant loudly using the MxxxFxxxer term. Especially around my family. Perhaps we should have a list of offending words that can be considered arrestable offenses if used. And remember, if it is acceptable for those of color to use the "N" word, then they are giving permission for anyone to use it.

So, you want someone arrested for using a word that is not approved by you? Wow! You should have stayed in the USSR, or did you immigrate after it's fall?

Public money shouldn't be spent on "art". The public will support art if it's they think it's worth supporting.

It's funny how the one who support "equality" and "diversity" are living in a 99% white community. They keep refusing MY offers to go down to MLK Blvd...in ANY city...at 1am to hob nob with the locals. That's what 99% black looks like. Constitutional Amendment
 

I think that ANYBODY who murders a cop should be shot on sight by anybody, with NO penalty. Make it "open season". That also should cover ANYBODY who provides any kind of assistance to the murderer.

This should become a FEDERAL LAW, and have nothing to do with states rights. JMHO!:police:

Putting words into my mouth. It all depends on context.

Going into a police station and yelling "Gun"!, "Shooter", "Bomb", or something like that might get you shot. "Bomb" yelled on an airplane. "80% off" at a sale on Black Friday.

African-Americans, at least some, have their own culture and socially acceptable words and actions. This is strengthened by the media through art, music, films, etc. They do use the "n" word but that is often because they understand its deep pain and suffering with how it has been used in the US. Most white really do not get this empathy. Some try though.

As far as the MF word is concerned that also depends a lot of context. I doubt if you hear that much at Bonefish Grill from people of any color, occupation, or age.

Why the double standard? Why DO they have their "own" culture? Why do THEY get to say words FORBIDDEN to me?

WHY would ANY "rational" people use a word themselves that they find completely offensive? Would white people call themselves "Stupid f@@k"? "******* child", "White trash", "cracker", or ANY denigrating words? So WHY do they?

Blacks curse a LOT. MF and n!@@3r are two of their favorite words. If you're ever unfortunate enough to see them in the wild...listen to them talk. See how racist they are, how uneducated they are, how nasty their mouth's are. How much they're NOT like us.
