Sarah Palin at it again
Although proven to be a habitual liar, people are still willing to give this shameless individual a podium.

I would much rather have her as the VP then the gaff a minute Biden. Besides if she was VP then we would not have Obama as POTUS. And how good would that be? WONDERFUL.

Some of you people are really disgusting. Where do you get off saying Sarah Palin is a liar? Where? Where's your proof.
The ignorance on this site is simply amazing at times. Facts and data folks. But then, maybe you deserve what you voted for this last time. Now THERE is a liar and a deceiver. |

Joe B. AND Sarah P. are both a gaff a minute, take your pick. I prefer BO at the helm right now vs. having JM there.

I'm not sure which is more disturbing:
Sarah Palin writing and speaking about completely idiotic concepts such as "death panels" and other forms of government-mandated euthanasia; or, the thought that there actually appear to be numerous clueless people that believe her. |

I always what else some on this forum are thinking when
the issue posted never gets addressed and the responses degenerate to to the individual/personal level.....NEVER COMING CLOSE TO THE OBJECTIVE OF THE THREAD.
How about putting the issue first? Party and individual set aside. Why not. Interesting quote from John Adama: Our first two presidents, George Washington and John Adams, both adamantly opposed the development of political parties. As early as 1780, seven years before the Constitutional Convention first met, Adams declared, “There is nothing I dread so much as a division of the Republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader and converting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.” Despite such trepidation, the Founding Fathers wrote nothing about political parties in the Constitution. How right they were way back then. Given the time lapse with no progress it is unfortunately hopeless. btk |

Before you make such an inflamatory statement, I suggest that you do some research to better understand the background from which such conclusions are drawn. Please refer to this site: http://www.foxnews.com/search-result...zekiel+emanuel There you will find several references to the writings of Ezekeil Emanuel, brother to the President's Chief of Staff and Consultant to the development of the President's health care reform proposals. His writings are frightening! |

Bimmertl, I go to factcheck.org to sort through the truth and lies. It's almost like we can't believe anything we hear anymore and need a third party to sort the truth out. I have found factcheck.org to be a pretty good neutral site. Unfortunately, Sara Palin did talk about Death Panels that she said were included in the Health Care bill; and as we all know now, there is no such thing as a Death Panel. This morning on the Sunday news an Alaskan Republican Senator made a statement to the press that she was shocked by Sarah's statement too. Now we all know that end-of-life counseling is an option available to all if you want to discuss it with a counselor, and it is included in the proposed Health Care bill. That's a good thing for all of us to be knowledgeable about. When my mother-in-law recently died, she made out a living will, which instructed the family about her end-of-life wishes (treatment, donating organs, etc.). It certainly helped us out a lot about her desires. I think the end-of-life counseling (if it becomes available) is a good idea for people at any age.
