Default Seems maybe a bit risky to me...

but President Obama is using his political organization to pay for television ads aimed at putting pressure on DEMOCRATIC senators to vote for and get passed a healthcare bill !

Could this not backfire ?

If the President is successful, the voters in those states (ARK, IND, FLA, LA, MA, NDAK, NE, OH) could turn on their senators. Sort of "eating your own" isnt it ?

Don't matter in Ma. If the name has a "d" after it...the sheeple will never learn.

When nothing else makes sense, follow the money.

Who is going to profit by this bill at this time? Sorry, but there's nothing idyllic about this bill.

As I try to estimate the size and scope of operations for the federal entity necessary to manage this monster, and the time frame required by the bill to set it ll up, there is no way OPM can acquire the people to fill the positions, or for the federal entity to do all that is tasked. The same thing happened to the Office of Homeland Security when it became the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The result was contractor assistance in the ratio of what seemed like 3:1 Contractor:Fed Employee existed for the first 4 years at Headquarters alone, and it's still at least 1.5:1 today. That's a lot of money to a few select contractors.

DHS has not been the pinnacle of financial management, especially in all of their procurement and contracting. You've all heard some noise about that over the years. The odds of subsequent procurement actions by the federal entity running the health care "law" being any better are slim at best. So, the money pouring out of the fed for the next few years until (hopefully) the federal entity matures enough to run itself property will be immense.

Again, when nothing else makes sense, follow the money.
