Well then...WTF are you doing here at talkofthevillages? And WHY the hell are you arguing with me when you DON'T KNOW how wonderful AND different it is living away from "them"...in a 99% white place? You don't KNOW the joy of NEVER seeing even one black for weeks. NEVER having to hear that loud...boom...boom...boom. NEVER having to hear them screeching at each other. You DON'T KNOW what life is like free of them.

There is a HUGE difference between a "regular mixed neighborhood" and a place that is all white. A HUGE difference. This is NOTHING like anywhere you used to live...unless it was an all white gated community.

You have no idea what a joy it is to live here...diversity free. So you can't argue that "your neighborhood is just as good". Just like the people living here can't argue that MLK Blvd is full of people "just like us". Because they've NEVER been there.

I assumed you lived here...don't know WHY you'd be here if you don't...your opinion means nothing because you can't compare because you lack the experience of both sides.

Thanks for witnessing. She has used PM's for years to spread her venium and I have read many of them with the caveat not to say who showed me. So many are afraid of Gracie's retaliation to come forward. More folks are coming out with time. Karma will get her in the end. Obsessive hurtful gossip is not ileagal but is immoral. She is attempting to control who can post what on Thevillages-news.com . So far she is not winning that battle. TOTV is nothing but a gossip site, so no loss there, but thevillages-news.com is a wonderful sourse of important information about this area. It would be a horible loss to this comunity to allow her to control the membership on there or control the content of the articles.

I think there is an easy answer to this. Gracie posted the meanest in 2008-2009-2010. There were different administrators then. They were constantly deleting her posts and she would get mad and quit. Everyone would be happy but she could only stay off a day as she is so addicted. They banned her a couple times. I think her meanest posts were deleted.
The administrators now have a very good handle on posts and her nastiness is not showing or when it does, it is aimed at just certain people like Mickey100 Also it is in a very passive aggressive way.

We visited the Villages some time back because we thought it was a place where we might like to live. As I said, for a number of reasons we decided to move elsewhere. I joined TOTV to search for someone we met while here in hopes of getting together now that we are living in Florida. Eventually I found my way here. I didn't realize I should have checked with you first.

Apparently you really DIDN'T fully read any of my posts. I never opined any comparison between living here vs living in my old neighborhood. That is something that was done by YOU even though to use your own words you "lack the expierence" of living in my old neighborhood. I only said that It was full of hard working people of all races and that we decided not to live in the Villages for a number of reasons, primarily proximity to scuba diving. I will grant that as a person who flees fron pigmentation you would not have fit in well in my neighborhood.

Now it comes out that you don't live HERE either. So when you spoke of moving HERE, of living HERE, etc, that was a lie? When most people say HERE, they are referring to where they actually are, not someplace else.

Don't let the bastards get you down. Don Baldwin only represents Don Baldwin as far as the Villages is concerned. I have never met such a flagrant racist over the 12.45 years we have lived in the Villages.

Sure you have...WHY do you think MOST people are here? We want as far away from them as we can get...consciously or subconsciously.

NO place with a MLK Blvd has EVER been called "friendliest home town".

And before you say it...yes I know you better than you know yourself...I'm friendly towards my own species...I'm not a dog person...or a cat person...or a negro person.

I'm STILL waiting for ANYONE to come up with a black villages, black Oxford (Harvard is out they give away prestigious degrees), black Microsoft...anything "black" that doesn't suck.
