Default Socialists ban school books that question climate change

Oregon school board bans books that question climate change - Washington Times

"The Portland Public Schools board unanimously approved a resolution this week that bans textbooks and other teaching materials that deny climate change exists or cast doubt on whether humans are to blame."

Hey everybody, lets get together for a book burning. The Climate Nazis are at it again.

Now, that is a good reason to burn books that one faction does not agree with, right?

The agenda for today's progressives isn't truth, its power and it fools its members with talk of social justice and equality which they follow through with absurd remedies

Progressives enforce their agenda through coercive methods using legal means and shaming people via the courts , media, Hollywood. They undermine our democracy and reject the rule of law. Their moral relativist theme misleads them such as all minorities are oppressed, capitalist are only greedy, climate change deniers ought to be charged under the RICO act . Indeed if people do not fight back progressives will be goose stepping in the streets not long from now.

It is predicted that Republican dissatisfied with the Republican Party and those Democrats dissatisfied with the progressives will join to form a new third party

Personal Best Regards:

I did. Censure free thought and you might as well burn the books. Isn't that what the Nazis did? Same as Obama's AG trying to charge so-called "hate speech." It's a trend today with the radical left to gain more power. The more "rights" they take away, the less freedom American citizens have.

They are picking out science textbooks. I have never met a teacher that doesn't encourage students to do additional outside reading including Inhoffe's book. The Nazi's forbade reading banned books.

This is silly you know all this.

Law against hate speech enacted, but...

The only hate speech news stories I can find are from Japan.

There are libraries available that have these books probably even these school libraries.

Students should be able to research and think for themselves.

Did they do this where you went to grade school, Junior HS, High School? Mine not so much and this was 1970-1976 or so.

I wouldn't know what they did in school in the 70's. I graduated from HS in the 60's, served in Vietnam and then got married, so public school was NOT an issue at that time.

Now, instead of history studies, they push "social studies" where they teach motives instead of facts, by changing/bending historical facts to accommodate social engineering.

I am surprised that they have not banned KFC commercials yet, since they have the Col. Sanders figure that could be construed as a Confederate figure.
