Every year for 25 years, I dealt with health insurance companies. Every year the premiums went up more than the rate of inflation. BCBS went up over 50% in a three year period. If you were a business and had more than 50 people in your plan, your rate was based on your employee's medical history for that year. If you had less than 50 employees, you got the community rate, and you really got screwed. Every three or four year, we had to change carriers. It took about five years for every employee to have either a HMO, or a PPO. The salary for the partners ranged from $300,000 to 1,000,000 a year. Being able to afford the same health insurance coverage they had 60s, 70s, and 80s wasn't the problem. Getting ripped off by the health insurance carriers was. Why don't you check the number of businesses that don't provide health insurance for their employees, and will be required to do so? The number is real small. Losing many jobs is a statement not supported by facts. Saying that it will put companies out of business is nonsense. If they can't provide health insurance for their employees, they shouldn't be in business in the first place. Why would anyone listen to the Republicans when they did everything possible to make sure it would fail, because of the person that put it forward? What will be your song, when ACA works in states that took the Medicaid expansion portion of the law, and not in the states that didn't? You seem not to place any responsibility for the current state of our health insurance problem on the backs of the insurance carriers. You want to talk about naïve start there. When your primary care physician is the emergency room, you have a real problem. |

Even your Chillary said it is flawed. Even Sanders wants to get rid of it. Everyone knows it is cr@p, but you ALL back it ONLY because it is purely backed by the lefties, right or wrong. Do you want to get rid of the auto insurance industry also? Here's what you dumb@ss liberals want: Public taxpayer funded college Public taxpayer funded health care Public taxpayer funded mortgages Pubic taxpayer funded transportation Pubic taxpayer funded utilities etc. etc. etc. Run by the government You know what that defines? SOCIALISM |

Liberals are sooo needy. I am surprised that they were ever able to leave home without gov assistance. Maybe that is why, they no longer have to until after they are 26.

Well the very conservative Wall Street Journal does not agree with you.
Heritage Rewrites History - WSJ It's ok that the idea of an insurance company run requirement for health care came from the right. The left as you are certainly aware wanted a national health insurance similar to that in Canada and almost every other western democracy. But the Democrats, afraid of another Harry and Louise, made a pact with the insurance companies not to consider that approach. |

If the Republicans stopped participating in government , that would be a blessing. Republicans stopped government. They opposed everything Obama put forward even though they supported what was put forward in the past.

That Obama had a full democratic congress his first two years....remind me of the landslide of programs Obama was able to get approved. Then there were two more years where Harry Reid and his band of outlaws contrilled the senate....setting a worlds record for not letting anything through he did not think Obama would like , hence nothing got through. So cut the BS about who is holding up what and suporting what ever or not. Congress no matter the flavor is useless. Congress, no matter what flavor, with a useless POTUS is hopeless.......which has been the past 7 + years!!! |

Congress was controlled by the Democrats for the last two years of Bush's second term and how did that go. Democrats had two years total control of Obama's first term, filibuster proof. How did that go? The only thing accomplished was longer recession and Obamacare. Obamacare that Hilary says is flawed and needing a good fixin' and Sanders wants to get rid of. Even the Dem's hate it. SO, go whine to someone that might believe it is all the Republicans fault that Dems can't even work together to get something right.
