ACA is what was needed in USA. More people are insured. It is good.
What you mean is that more people have been forced to purchase insurance, that didn't need it. Only a few gained compared to how many have to pay for it, including the debt we are giving the next generation. But, stupid people only think of themselves, not the people that have to pay for their frivolous spending. Just more smoke and mirrors to conceal the increased cost on the middle class.

Obamacare has nothing or little to do with party ego. It's cr@p and that is fact. You talk about adding insurance to more people. Big deal, you cost us trillions more on our deficit to add a few more to medicaid. None the lies panned out to help us, other than the supposed "per-existing" thing. We certainly paid a lot for that. My co-pays went up 50% for hospital treatment. Premiums went way up. Out of pocket went up over 36%. Mine went from $5000 a year to $11,000 a year. They also cover less procedures. But, you can calibrate a few more on Medicaid. Now, people that do not need insurance MUST have it or pay a fine. That is part of your few that now have insurance. Now, you have adults 26 years old that are under their parents policy, hardly a big deal. If they are working, then they don't need that supposed benefit. Obamacare did nothing to lessen the cost of Malpractice Insurance. It did NOT cover millions that still don't have insurance, as was advertised. It did NOT lower the cost of insurance, as advertised. But, it did steal almost a trillion bucks from Medicare to subsidize it. It also prevented many jobs from being created and some businesses to close because of the added burden on the business owner. So, when you brag about how great it is and how the Dems did it, remember that the Republicans warned you. It's pathetic how you can't admit the disaster that it is.
Your wish for gov run health care is ignorant. You obviously have never lived overseas so that you could witness socialized medicine first hand. I have and there is NOTHING there that I want for us. It really is as bad as your heard, and not as good as you want it to be.
What the hell are you talking about? Obamacare was a Heritage foundation Plan, and mimics the Mass. plan. I am from Mass and over 97% of the people there have health insurance. It is amazing what happens, when people work together to make something work.

Every year for 25 years, I dealt with health insurance companies. Every year the premiums went up more than the rate of inflation. BCBS went up over 50% in a three year period. If you were a business and had more than 50 people in your plan, your rate was based on your employee's medical history for that year. If you had less than 50 employees, you got the community rate, and you really got screwed. Every three or four year, we had to change carriers. It took about five years for every employee to have either a HMO, or a PPO. The salary for the partners ranged from $300,000 to 1,000,000 a year. Being able to afford the same health insurance coverage they had 60s, 70s, and 80s wasn't the problem. Getting ripped off by the health insurance carriers was.

Why don't you check the number of businesses that don't provide health insurance for their employees, and will be required to do so? The number is real small. Losing many jobs is a statement not supported by facts. Saying that it will put companies out of business is nonsense. If they can't provide health insurance for their employees, they shouldn't be in business in the first place.

Why would anyone listen to the Republicans when they did everything possible to make sure it would fail, because of the person that put it forward? What will be your song, when ACA works in states that took the Medicaid expansion portion of the law, and not in the states that didn't?

You seem not to place any responsibility for the current state of our health insurance problem on the backs of the insurance carriers. You want to talk about naïve start there. When your primary care physician is the emergency room, you have a real problem.

First off, you lost all credibility in your first sentence when you stated that Obamacare is a Heritage foundation plan. The second stupid thing you said was you tried to tie it into the Mass. plan. Never mind the rest of your OPINION, because that is all it is YOUR OPINION.

Even your Chillary said it is flawed. Even Sanders wants to get rid of it. Everyone knows it is cr@p, but you ALL back it ONLY because it is purely backed by the lefties, right or wrong.

Do you want to get rid of the auto insurance industry also?

Here's what you dumb@ss liberals want:

Public taxpayer funded college
Public taxpayer funded health care
Public taxpayer funded mortgages
Pubic taxpayer funded transportation
Pubic taxpayer funded utilities
etc. etc. etc.
Run by the government
You know what that defines? SOCIALISM

Liberals are sooo needy. I am surprised that they were ever able to leave home without gov assistance. Maybe that is why, they no longer have to until after they are 26.

Well the very conservative Wall Street Journal does not agree with you.

It's ok that the idea of an insurance company run requirement for health care came from the right. The left as you are certainly aware wanted a national health insurance similar to that in Canada and almost every other western democracy. But the Democrats, afraid of another Harry and Louise, made a pact with the insurance companies not to consider that approach.

If your medical coverage costs you $106 someone else is paying for it. My premium is $1300 a month with $7000 deductible. Unfortunately for me I worked in private sector for 40 years. Your good fortune is exactly why medical cost are completely out of control in this country. Tax payers are covering too many so there is no urgency to fix the cost problem, at least until government runs out of money. ACA has little to do with cost it is just government pulling more under the free tent. I personally hope the tent falls soon.

If the Republicans stopped participating in government , that would be a blessing. Republicans stopped government. They opposed everything Obama put forward even though they supported what was put forward in the past.

you seem to have forgotten something....an error of convenience no doubt.

That Obama had a full democratic congress his first two years....remind me of the landslide of programs Obama was able to get approved.

Then there were two more years where Harry Reid and his band of outlaws contrilled the senate....setting a worlds record for not letting anything through he did not think Obama would like , hence nothing got through.

So cut the BS about who is holding up what and suporting what ever or not.
Congress no matter the flavor is useless. Congress, no matter what flavor, with a useless POTUS is hopeless.......which has been the past 7 + years!!!

Congress was controlled by the Democrats for the last two years of Bush's second term and how did that go. Democrats had two years total control of Obama's first term, filibuster proof. How did that go? The only thing accomplished was longer recession and Obamacare. Obamacare that Hilary says is flawed and needing a good fixin' and Sanders wants to get rid of. Even the Dem's hate it. SO, go whine to someone that might believe it is all the Republicans fault that Dems can't even work together to get something right.
