"CHICAGO — Former House speaker Dennis Hastert, who less than a decade ago stood second in line to the presidency, was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison Wednesday for a bank fraud case linked to allegations he sexually abused teen boys more than 30 years ago."

No one argued as to what Hastert had done. The only comment was regarding what he was actually sentenced for. And now the person that he paid over a million bucks to, wants another million plus bucks in black mail money and is using the court as a tool to blackmail him. Not that I am defending him, because I figure what he did to be despicable no matter what party. I'm sure that liberals will ultimately consider special restrooms in Target for this type of behavior.

Funny how liberals find this behavior just as despicable as Republicans, as long as it is a Republican that is guilty. But, they defend Weiner's actions and were indignant when he was finally forced out of congress.

Too bad that liberals won't defend women when it comes to restrooms as much as they defend teenage boys that were "touched" 30 years ago.

An opinion article that spends a whole lot of room and type to say what could have been said in one sentence. The point to the whole diatribe is to state that laws are redundant and that the idea is forced acceptance of a mental disorder.

Men WILL fake it to get into ladies rooms! Trust me! People also fake handicaps and buy wheelchairs to get up front for shows! the world is FULL of liars who WILL take advantage.

I've seen healthy young people using wheelchairs and other assistive devices to get in front of the line in Disneyworld. But I have never seen a man put on a dress just so he can go in a ladies restroom in a restaurant. Where do you eat? I'd like to see that.

I don't understand the transgender thing and probably never will but I don't understand why I, as a woman, have to fear a transgendered person in the bathroom but I should have no fear a guy walking down the street with an open carry AK-47?

Not even a third of the trannies get surgery. If you Google, you will see many sexual assaults happening in restrooms. I am not worried about a woman entering the men's restroom, but I am concerned about a man entering a women's restroom. I find it very alarming that anyone would not be concerned for women, UNLESS they are women haters. I would think that Hillary would have something to say, considering she is at war against men.

Yes, boys have been assaulted too. That's the point, isn't it? Sexual assault, no matter the gender. BUT MOSTLY PERPETRATED BY MEN, or men dressed as women in some cases.

No, you may not need to fear, but I do not know what you look like so I can't judge that part. Perhaps you don't care about guys taking photos of you in the stall either. But, I care about my family, even if you are not worried about anyone looking at you, or assaulting you. Perhaps you look forward to it, I don't know.

Chances are that you have already shared a public bathroom with a transgender. You would not know it in most instances. They will go into a stall and lock the door while they do their business.
