Default Where is one to go to check the fact checkers credibilty?

All of a sudden we have a new wave of terminology .....fact checking.

Here is why fact checking is BS;

There is a bullseye on the side of a barn. There is an arrow in the red dot in the center. Hours are wasted discussing how close the shot is to the center.

Fact check? Is the arrow in the bulleye. Fact check answer? Yes it is!!!

What the fact checker did not present, however , is the shooter would shoot the arrow into the barnside, then go up and paint the bullseye around the arrow.

Short story on the BS of so called fact checking!!

"The Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature is a reference guide to recently published articles in periodical magazines and scholarly journals, organized by article subject. The Readers' Guide has been published regularly since 1901 by The H. W. Wilson Company, and is a staple of public and academic reference libraries throughout the United States; a retrospective index of general periodicals published from 1890 to 1982 is also available.
Originally, The Readers' Guide was published on a biweekly basis, with later issues incorporating the previous content in larger copies until the index for the entire year was published." The reference book pointed the investigator to the original source and then if you were lucky the library had the original source.

Since original sources are now online a computer can find the same information in seconds or less. Checking Facts is not new. To evaluate the Fact Checking Site look at the source of information the bottom of the site and decide if it a reliable source.

I think every voter, IF THEY SINCERELYNWANT TO KNOW, should do their own fact checking.

Wth the Internet it is simple to do.

Just stay away from extreme left or right websites.

Example...Trump chastised Ford for lost jobs, when in fact they have created jobs in the last few years, and are prospering better than ever. How do I know that.

First when he says that, it just does not sound right based on simply readin newspapers each day.

So...about ten days or so, Ford called Trump out in what he says..

Ford CEO fires back at Donald Trump on jobs to Mexico

Then this story also on Ford, where Trump totally misstated facts, and in fact said Ford changed their plans because of him, which of course was not true.

Trump’s Bogus Boast on Ford

I guess, the point is....read....we listen to these platitudes and accept them because he is our candidate if she is our candidate.

They hope you never ever read and simply accept it as fact.

If in fact you had read, as soon as Trump started with his "schtick" on Ford, you would have know it is a lie.

If you don't "prepare" these people will snow you.

Another example. Trump always talks about jobs leaving, but never mentions most jobs are lost here because we are not keeping up with technology training.

We have a responsibility or we get what we deserve. Candidates want to be the loudest, and could care less if they tell the truth.

CAR Research Publications | Center for Automotive Research

worth reading---
Mexico builds the cars that were built in S Korea, Germany and Japan. We sell them the parts which may be as high as 40% of the car. If I read it correctly. Somebody should check my facts too.

Really, fact checking is BS. So you'll criticize Hillary constantly about lying but when Trump lies 70% of the time (probably more than that) you're ok with that and the facts don't matter anymore.

70% of the time as measured by what?

The dem political talking points?

The dem media?

The way the wind is blowing at the moment?

MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, and all the other lettered national media that are all biased and suppotive of Clinton. Because they too have something to lose if a non insider, hell raising, non-political, say it like it is whether you like it or not candidate wins.

And what is most disturbing to y'all is that he continues to close the gap and lead the polls.

We are sick and tired of the political establishement....get it?

Here's a fact I can't find. How many people who live in other countries watched last night or will watch reruns on youtube? Everyone has a vested interest in America. And anyone with Internet access can see our candidates in action.

Unbiased fact checkers over the course of Trumps campaign show 70% of his statements are false. Do you get it???
