The election results will not be changed.
Those spinning that are doing just that...spinning.
Having said that, ALL Americans should want to know whether or not a foreign (non friendly, murderous) power influenced our national elections.
Not only that, I think it should be investigated and avenged.
This is an attack, on our systems and the country and why anyone does not want to know is the "politicizing" part of it.
Are both sides at such extremes that no longer is the country considered first before your damn liberal and conservative labels ?

I have not seen anyone claim that the election was in some way altered by hacking at all, only the extremists on the right jumping to a defense of something.
The minute that Trump began speaking in generalities on twitter, these sites followed suit as they always do.
Listen, America was hacked, not for the first time for sure, but now it is reaching into our basic systems and we need to know what happened and do something about it. Any American who does not think that is problematic to me and I would love to see a reason why. Thus far only Trump and his minions are against any investigation to find out the truth.
