I admit that I am not fond of Trump's verbal demeanor, but he makes up for it by getting things done, in spite of opposition. And the left hates that about him, which is icing on the cake. |

So someone tells a Washington Post reporter a story, the the reporter believes the source and prints the story. The White House denies it. McMaster says, "I was in the room. It didn't happen." The Russians have denied it.
CNN is picking out little words of McMasters statement and twisting them to say that he didn't actually deny it. Yet CNN is hammering away at this not even questioning it's validity. They are talking about it like it absolutely did happen without question. Supposedly, this came from someone who was in the room. But did it come directly from that person or from someone who spoke to someone who spoke to someone who was in the room? The president has denied it in two tweets. Yet CNN is parsing every word of those tweets to somehow draw the conclusion that he's admitting and defending it. We've all seen how things that have been said by people on both sides are twisted to mean something other than what was actually said. I think we all need to take a deep breath and wait to find out for sure what has actually happened here. For those of you who trust the media in this country, I don't know what to say. Their bias and inaccuracy has been proven over and over again. There are people that hate this president possibly more than any other president who ever held the office. They know that he is going to change things in Washington and there are a lot of people ensconced in the Washington system that don't want that. These people will stoop to anything to try to get him out. The U.S. media was not allowed into this meeting while the Russian media was. They are not happy about that and are acting as if they have a right to be privy to every little thing that goes on. The president has gotten tired of the inaccuracy of their reporting and their twisting of facts and he is dealing with them accordingly. They don't like that at all. if you don't think that they are out to get him for this, you are living in a fantasy world. I heard one of them this morning talking about the system of checks and balances and he included the media along with legislative, judicial and executive branches. I have never heard of the media being part of our checks and balances system. These people are out of control. They seem to think that just because they are mentioned in the constitution that they are part of our government. They are not. |
The media is the liberals army!!

Reports: Trump Gave Classified Info To Russians During White House Visit : NPR
Will have to see how this plays out and the First Amendment in the US Constitution certainly was meant as a check-and-balance on authority as written by the Founding Fathers. Do you believe everything that's printed? At least two people who were in the room said that it didn't happen and the Russian press said that it didn't happen. Yet CNN is talking about it like there is no doubt and you seem to believe it without question as well. Talk about not thinking for yourself. So far this is an allegation and nothing more. And it is an allegation put forth by a biased source. |

Trump rules, if he says it's ok to release secrets, it's ok????? Who cares what happens to our sources!!!! Trump not being briefed, probably his attention span would be very very short. Or our lack of loyalty to our allies., it's all about Trump's little friend Russia. Btw has anybody noticed that Trump has smiled for the first time, He just love those Russians!!!

I tried hard to get folks to talk issues and started a number of threads, and folks like this idiots ruined them all. I suppose that that is why trolls are trolls. What I do not understand is that even with our national and international situation dire and getting worse, these trolls continue to make light of it. They make fun if you express concern....some are so lost, they blindly come on and blame everything on the "other side" This man promised among a lot of things he would work to bring this country together....he is trying to pull us apart along with our systems. He criticizes his own and does nothing but bow to Russia in so many many ways, including it seems, laundering their cash for years, and now shares things with them that at minimum he should just be shut up on and STILL these people find humor in all that......it is hard for me to imagine anyone calling them even an average american and not be scared....not only of this man but the divide that he not only allows, but deepens. |

OK, one more time. Three people in this meeting denied that this happened. The Russian press denied that it happened. Yet the media is talking about it like it's fact.
They are parsing and twisting every word that every one in this administration speaks. McMasters said the story was false. The next day he said that the premise of the story os false. According to several in the media these are two totally and in some cases conflicting statements. I heard someone say yesterday that the media have been like a bunch of squirrels on cocaine since the inauguration. That also describes many of the democrats in congress as well. Why are none of the main stream media doing a story on who leaked this information? Leaking information is illegal. What they are ALLEGING that the president did is not. |

2) Leaking information from the White House is illegal. Watergate was one of the most over blown stories in our history. What actually happened was a minor infraction. The big mistake made was the cover up. That unfortunately brought one of the best presidents in recent history. |
