Affirmative action has NOTHING to do with the constitution. Affirmative action gives preference to a group of people due to their race or gender. That is not "equal" in any definition. If you don't like what people are doing with your liberal ideology, then do something about it, become conservative. Don't give me this cr@p about how misunderstood liberals are. Sanders is an admitted socialist, and Hillary is a radical liberal that believes in baby killing and free health care. If you can't accept the truth, you can always change to a conservative view.

I have no problem with Trump swearing in public. The comment was he was going to lose votes because of it. That is total nonsense. How many times must I say it. I am going to vote for Kasich. If the election is Trump vs. Clinton, I am going to vote for Donald Duck. Is my vote being wasted? Yes. However, that isn't as bad as wasting four years, if either Trump or Clinton is elected.

Affirmation Action was necessary, because minorities in the 50's, 60's, and 70's weren't being treated equally. It did get to the point where minorities wanted to treated more equally. If the phrase about all men are created equal wasn't in the Constitution, why would Affirmative Action laws be necessary in the first place?

Your comment was "liberal values are:". there was no talk about addressing only extreme liberals. If you are standing by your list, seek help from a qualified mental health professional.

Only in the world of conservative are there only two schools of thought, conservatives and liberals. I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but there are three. The third is moderates. Moderates want to see both parties working together to get things done. The other two are running into their corners shouting, and insulting the other, which guarantees that nothing will get done.

As a practice I refrain from expletives and I refrain from talking about bathroom habits and I refrain from talking about my sex life.

In that same vein I recognized other people do and so turn the volume down on my hearing.

So its not Trump's language and insults that disturbs me..sticks and stones..... Its the reactions that cause Trump to act in the manner he does that concerns me. Why is it the man who claims he understands the "Art of the Deal" is unable to maintain his demeanor. Deal making is like playing poker and if Trump believes all his bluster fools the other guy well..........

Well, they used to live much longer than men, back then. Now, they live about the same length of time. Maybe the fact that women are more stressed than back then?

Of course most of our wives are happier than they were 'X' number of years past.

And that status has absolutely NOTHING to do with politics or any politician or any government program or permissive changes to America or any specific religion or gender preference.

Most of us did it through hard work and providing for our families.

We were not distracted by all the political, race, permissive BS of the current day!!!!

Note the emphasis on the use of we and us!!!!!

But, not all of our wives were involved in the above. Many were attempting to keep the house together by working at low paying jobs during the 60-70's. The statement made by the poster was about the 50's. During that period of time, women were held in pretty high regard, and were the cement that held the families together. They received a lot more respect than they are now. Today, if you treat a woman with the respect they deserve, they think you might be hitting on them, or they feel that you are being condescending. I am generalizing, of course and speaking mostly of the younger generation, not our seniors.

But, we went pretty far away from the original post regarding Trumps vulgar language. If we spoke of the 50's and such language, it would not be tolerated and would be immediately censored.
