In a handshaking photo opportunity with newly elected President Macron of France, Trump tried his usual grab, squeeze, and pull technique of handshake.

Macron would have none of that bullying and squeezed Trump's paw so Trump's knuckles turned white and Trump could not get out of France's grasp.

In other words, Trump "knuckled under" to France!

You'd probably be crying like a baby. France should be bowing to us. After all, if not for America, they would be speaking German. Of course, it probably would have been an improvement. Right now, most of them are trying to learn some of the Middle Eastern dialects. They'll be building mosques on every corner before long.

Let me explain something....as of yesterdays fiasco, Merkel is the leader they will look to, not us.

They need to stay united with the terrible Russian threat in eastern Europe and it is obvious our country will not make the commitment to stand with them.

You explain something? No one is going to believe you when you say they are looking at Merkel for leadership. She can't even control her own country. Europe will be the first to fall to jihad if we do not intervene. At the nato meeting Trump publicly stated ONLY FOUR of the member nations have paid their agreed fees. There was the US, Great Brittan and two others. The two others were smaller countries. That left just over 20 who are not paid. I think Great Brittan was the one that paid after Trump took office.
