Once Trump is sworn in, if he doesn't dissolve his relationship with his business, he will be in violation of the emolument clause of the constitution whenever he accepts a gift from a foreign country. Supposedly, he is having a press conference on Jan 11, so hopefully he will announce how he is untangling himself from his business interest. Key word here is supposedly, it was also scheduled for Dec 15. If he fails to act, Trump will be spending a lot of time in court. |

ICYMI, President Obama has run the most scandal-free administration, maybe ever. We'll see how long Trump can say the same thing. |

I guess you would be fine if Trump does not sever his relationship with his business as long as he does not plan on accepting a gift from a foreign company, all your worried about is the emolument clause of the constitution, right Jan? |

Donald Trump is a CAPITALIST. Under Nazism and Communism the duty of a citizen is to the state. Under CAPITALISM the duty of the state is to the individual. To make it very simple-look at the difference between East and West Germany or more recently Greece. The trouble with CAPITALISM that drives the American LIBERAL SOCIALISTS to violence is that under capitalism YOU are responsible to support yourself and your family. NOT EXPECTING THE GOVERNMENT TO TAX OTHERS TO PAY YOUR BILLS. |

He is President Elect of the United States of America, and in public for the world to see has ridiculed the country' entire intelligence service. He is President Elect of the United States and in public for the world to see supports, and quotes Asssange (who his party leader called a voice of Russia), and publicly for the world to see supports and professes innocence for Putin. This all in public...a President debasing our country's intelligence service, supporting a Russian leader and a man who cannot even leave the embassy in which he holes up and a man who the leader of his party has called a voice of Russia. Looking for words... |
