Default Very Sad

I don't care whether one is Republican or Democrat...I find this article to be very, very sad. Perhaps they didn't hear the cries in the crowd...but apparently everyone else did. I just listened to the video...questionable...about what was said and Mccain's reaction....not sure I saw a wink.

It is sad when a politician sinks to such lows. But you know why that's happening - they're running scared. The polls all show Obama with a lead. They're losing ground in the battleground states. Why else would they have sent Palin, a big name Republican, to The Villages? Because they're so afraid of losing Florida. So they have to pull the smear tactics out, like they did against Kerry, because they're running out of ammunition, and that's the only thing left. Unlike Kerry, however, who shied away from the smear tactics, Obama is giving it right back to them. We're now starting to hear about McCain's association with the Keating Five, etc. Its sad that both parties can't stick to the high road.

Angry Ugly!

McCain can turn this very ugly and I guess he's chosen to do so. I don't believe the American People will stand for it. He's shown himself to be the lowest of the low. I knew eventually his true colors would come out. It's my opinion, he's a disgusting little man who's time has passed. And someone should muzzle that viper Palin. She cutting her own throat and she's too stupid to know it. Name calling! Yes! The Republicans have opened the door for it. So come on it!

You could not tell but you found it necessary to start a thread....hmmmmm !!

While I would not condone any such action IF IT TOOK PLACE, where are you when the smears are on the other side...Gov Palin's family, Sen McCain's flying record, etc. ??? Just curious !

And since you are in a mood to find things appalling and terrible, check out the New York Post where Obama folks are picking people up at drug rehab centers, homeless shelters, etc and taking them to register and vote in one swoop !! Oh, but that is ok...it is the always honest, forthright, upstanding Sen Obama !!!

Anytime anyone wants to talk about the Keating Five, lets do it !!! Read a bit....it was the subject of a congressional investigation....lets apply the same investigation to a few other things...fair enough ?

On that Keating Five issue....from todays news below so anytime you want to discuss it...lets...

"The irony of the Keating case is that McCain received the mildest ethics committee rebuke of the five senators in 1991, and was kept as a defendant because he was the only Republican. The special counsel in the case had recommended that McCain and one of the Democrats be dropped as defendants. But Democrats, who controlled the Senate, refused to take all the heat for the scandal and all five remained in the case to the end."

Bucco...I was posting this thread because most of America is talking about this..and I figured we at TOTV surely would not want to miss out! I posted it because I was curious to see if anyone on here could hear what the press is saying was said! Isn't that why we post anything on here....to start conversation and get different perspectives. I don't think I said anything offensive to or about anyone...only that I thought it was very sad that they feel the need to start smeering....both sides!!!

I didn't need to post anything about the NYPost because you already did....

Guess Karl Rove doesn't like his form of politics thrown back at him! Remember he coached Bush to use all of these tactics against McCain and then the Dems. Well guess what. They ran into one that won't take it and is smarter at their game then they are. Enough with this swift boat crap.

I say "Go Obama" He tried to take the highroad, but if he needs to get into the mud with McCain to win. Go for it! We need an intelligent person in power for a change! Change!

I did not realize that "most of America is talking about this"....thus far found no mention of it in any main stream media, but thats ok....it MAY have happened thus it should be reported !

Since you are going to post this kind of things...looking forward to your postings on the investigation into Sen Obama financials...would love your perspective on that. Or you could go to fatcheck and pick any of the stuff that is not true in his ads and we could discuss that !!!

Bucco:

Give up on this one. The people you are trying to reason with are unreasonable. Their minds were made up long ago by whatever; MSM, who knows. But Socialism is this man's middle name. Run, don't walk.

And I'm looking forward into looking into McCain's Mental Health records.

You don't really want to talk about untrue ads, do you?

Actually if you read some of our other postings...not all of us had made up our minds...I read every word Bucco writes and sometimes I agree with him...in fact he knows that there have been many times that I have been on the fence...

MSM?

ABSOLUTELY I DO. I posted here yesterday from fatcheck how straightforward Sen Obama has been...not very, as with any candidate when you check their ads...I would love to go there.

As far as Sen McCains mental health...you seem to keep bringing that up, which is not unexpected from you, but I dont get into the personal stuff and never have said one word on a personal level about Sen Obama or his family thus this is all your area....not going to get involved in it.

I'm sorry. Let me get this straight. You don't think the mental health of our next President is an issue! Whew! I really can't think of a bigger issue. This encompasses how he will make all of his judgments!
