Wife of biker inmate: Some arrested in Texas are innocent - AOL.com

It could be weeks and possibly months before the 170 arrested could get a bail reduction hearing. No bail bondsmen in Waco will write a one million dollar bond, so unless these bikers have one million in cash, they are in jail for the long haul. The number of arrested could grow as some of the injured are released from the hospital.

Sniff sniff ... this is a major tragedy? Lock them up and throw away the key.

And this has exactly what to do with the biker brawl in Waco? Is anyone disputing that the Texas senators have not spoken out? Or can anyone produce a link showing that the two Texas senators have spoken out and condemned this violence which occurred in their own back yard?

When someone questions the reliability of some bat guano crazy right wing site a lot of Guests point out that we should judge the message, not the source. That philosophy should go both ways to be fair.

I agree and I, along with others addressed that not many quotes to be had on either side of the political spectrum, because there is no comparison.

However, it should be pointed out that the site referenced does exactly the same thing on any event...find something political or race related..that is what they do.

Again, most did EXACTLY what you ask....but I M not seeing any quotes from either side and certainly, not related to race except by those who are "gaiters".

Pointing out the lack of a quote by two men when I am not seeing ANY quotes is simply looking for trouble.

If you, or the OP are looking for a race discussion, or trying to bait one, you will need to find instances that are comparable.

Heck, at this point they have no idea of exactly how many of these thugs were shot by police, if you are trying to get police on this one, nor have I heard anyone complain about their behavior.

If it is black vs white that you wish to stir up....have at it...I sure don't see any racial issues at all.

Yes, and did you notice the mobs of white people looting, rioting and burning down their neighborhoods in protest? Waco is "Baptist Central" and, while I know these riots must have occurred, the media must have forgotten to show it. What do you think?

I have noticed the crime in Baltimore exploding, and making Waco look peaceful.

God Bless America. Lock up the innocent and throw away the key!

And how does one go about concluding the innocence of those that have been arrested?

Maybe you should contact the Waco police with the information you have.

When folks have no personal investment in a situation they can pontificate almost anything as there is no risk to them personally. So easy to arm chair quarter back. Not a mistake can be made!

That's what I was thinking ... its EZ for one's heart to bleed from afar, and while comfortably ensconced in the Monday morning quarterback recliner

Ironically, the liberals who protest racism turn out to be the biggest racists of all, and most especial with their bigotry of low expectations as they routinely display towards African Americans.

Read. It's an important skill. Never said I had any information. Not pontificating. Not arm chair quarterbacking. Not saying that the Waco police did anything wrong.

I was replying to a post that said we should lock people up and throw away the keys regardless of their guilt or innocence.

So get off your high horse.

It looks like there are a lot of people on this forum who believe that that is exactly what we should do. As long as the police arrest someone, they must be guilty. Off with their heads!

I think what people were saying with regards to the Waco incident ... there were a whole bunch of people there who broke the law. The police needed to sweep up the lot to quell the mayhem. If there's some innocent people caught up, let's deal with it ... but, the takeaway point (especially for the Monday morning quarterbacks ... not saying you're one BTW) is the police had to act.

Look at Baltimore to see what happens when the police are no longer around. Not even liberals want that ... I think ?

That might be what you think they're saying. But what was actually said, in reference to innocent people being caught up in the sweep, was "lock them up and throw away the key". That was the plan to "deal with it".

And when an intrepid guest tried to point out that that was a bit over the top several other guests maligned him/her.
