Are we LEFT yet ?

WOW....I recall during the campaign folks on this board and nationally saying that electing President Obama did not mean we were turning left....that it is more moderate and down the middle.

This almost, and please I said ALMOST, made me smile...a Democrat Rep from California (that left wing stuff has really worked there)..anyway a Dem Rep called the Blue Dog Democrats "brain dead" and that they are advancing...get this...a right wing agenda !!!

"A key House liberal suggested Thursday that party moderates who've pushed for changes in health care legislation are "brain dead" and out for insurance company campaign donations.
Moderate Blue Dog Democrats "just want to cause trouble," said Rep. Pete Stark, D-Calif., who heads the health subcommittee on the tax-writing Ways and Means Committee.

"They're for the most part, I hate to say, brain dead, but they're just looking to raise money from insurance companies and promote a right-wing agenda that is not really very useful in this whole process," Stark told reporters on a conference call."

What folks said about this administration and congress and were told it was not true...well, they are "coming out" every day in actions and words !
