Just as there is one school in NYC that has a weird ciriculum, I am also sure that there are many, many kids being homeschooled by their ignorant (redneck) (KKK) (neoNazi) (Tea Party) parents that are drilling hatred and bigotry (white supremacy) into the kids.

Why would liberal parents who accept diversity not send their children to Public Schools where the textbooks teach Climate Change, evolution and sex ed and liberal teachers and administrators who attended colleges taught by liberal professors? What would they be protecting their children from?

State college tuition in 1970 was $350/yr x 4 years = $1,400 for a four year scholarship. $64,500/1,400= 46 students
They spend as much money educate a 1 grammar school student in 1970 dollars as it cost for 46 four year scholarships.

The Villages is a good community of caring and charitable, patriotic residents. I am sure that on one is going to let one radical change their mind about moving here. If so, there are thousands of others that are not so easily scared away.

Carl Marx wrote an essay on the question of whether communism would conquer capitalism in a WAR. His thought was that it would not be necessary. THEY WOULD TAKE OVER THE SCHOOLS. Assuming your quote is correct. When I question my own prejudice I reverse the facts to see what would occur. Had the teacher said BLACK STUDENTS ARE BORN ................. she/he/it would be tossed out.
