Default What do you think is coming

I have said for some time that I didn't believe that there will be an election this November. And it's beginning to be quite clear that it just might come to that.Recent polls, for what they are worth, in North Carolina has indicated Romney is ahead of obama. Yes it is way to early to think that but lets say the polls begin to show Romney will lead the election. If enough civil unrest can be created by the administration and cause many honest Americans to do dumb things then obama could enforce marshal law and at that point he can do what ever he wants, and stop the election process. Couldn't happen you say don't be to sure. This man is more ruthless than I think any of us can imagine . And don't forget there are camps set up by Fema all over this country that can house thousands of us. Please don't respond to this until you honestly think of the possibilities our government can and would do.

I think it is very delusional to have such a negative view of how this country operates. I see so much fear of conspiracy from so many, but that has been in and around politics for the entire history of this country. Every generation thinks the new one is going to hell in the fast lane. Lighten up and see America in a better light. We are still doing fine. The haters on both sides of the process are getting rich off the fear that they instill in gullible people. It seems that some are not happy unless they have some one or some thing to fear and hate. Sad, but the VAST majority of Americans would be OK with Romney or Obama as the president. Only the small minority have irrational fears that make them run out and buy more ammo.

Ddoug I would not put it passed Obama; however he is going to be too busy drafting laws to help Hallie Berrie and her ilk to fight off these very very bad potographers. Can you imagine the mentality here Hallie Berrie's reaction to this situation is to have Obama take care of it. I guess she fits in that 49% demographic that believes government needs to resolve all of our problems. Hmmm what does that say about inititative, creativity, decision making resolution acumen of the populace? God Help Us All. Keep in mind at the same time these same Hollywood types and their secular America have launched a first line assault on Christianity...that is what the TV show GCB was all about as well as the Bogias' on showtime, etc

Yes, it is delusional. And like many delusions, it is the product of emotions having run wild. There are lots of causes, but in this case it is intense, blind, unrelenting hatred of President Obama.

Does it dawn on you that your imagination runs in the same path as that of terrorists, assassins and anarchists? Please have enough sense not to act on your thoughts.

Good luck with that.
You know, while I sort of agree with you...I have been against this administration from day one, but always doubted something like this...HOWEVER, after reading that his administration offered Rev Wright mucho bucks to shut up and hearing he told him that Wright's problem was that he always had to tell the truth....you know, as much as I have stayed away from him personally, that is hard to ignore...so you never know.

you guys are too much for me. Thankfully only a small minority of people share the same thoughts as some of you. Marshal law? Hallie Berry? Birthers? Socialists? Communists? Voter fraud? and on and on and on like a broken record.

As I said to jusluvit, I still am not ready to think that way, and I have always defended Obama on the personal level, but that meeting with Wright just flat out got my attention. Scares me that someone would do those things

Never fails to amuse me the way the lefties cry about "hatred" that's shown Obama.

They have such short memories.

It's not "hatred" for Obama. It is total distrust of him.

There are many likable or even lovable people in our lives whom we like or love, but we distrust them.....because of what we've seen.

Well let's see. What causes delusion? Are you going to suggest the author is suffering from an imbalance in his medication? Is he just crazy? Is it all a hoax and he's writing this just to get attention? Not enough info to conclude any of those explanations.
But, hey, it is what it is, hatred plain and simple.

You are spot on, but thank god we only have a few with such perverted views of this wonderful country.

The part I don't understand is that all the hate comes when one portion of this country tries to give a helping hand to the poor, the old and the sick. That seems to be what makes the haters so mad crazy.

DDoug - this is EXACTLY what I heard from Democrats near the end of Bush's 2nd term. They said Bush would secretly fund or allow a terrorist attack and then declare martial law to suspend the Constitution so he could serve a 3rd "emergency" term. I'm not making this up - I wish I was.

Repeat after me: Will.. Not... Happen..

If creating a crisis and declaring martial law were a viable way to keep the post of President, don't you think the Repubs would have attempted that long ago...maybe even back to Lincoln?

Halle Berry Vows to Take Her Anti-Paparazzi Crusade to Obama - ABC News

That Halle Berry stuff is interesting. Not sure how federal jurisdiction though applies to what would be a state matter.

I agree with the VillagerII though that for most Americans either Romney or Obama would be just fine.

"Sad, but the VAST majority of Americans would be OK with Romney or Obama as the president. Only the small minority have irrational fears that make them run out and buy more ammo."

The checks and balances in our system of government prevent a bad president from really getting us into an unsolvable mess.
