Seems as though you have not taken Econ 101. When there are tariffs, there are higher prices to the consumer.

When products come from Mexico and get charged a 35 percent fee for them to come to the USA, we - the consumers- get to pay for even more than tne 35 percent.

USA Today had an article about this in their online paper regarding Ford.

Sooo???

Since when did a liberal care about taxes? Kind of like how you all enjoy maxing out the credit card and then wonder why the collector is coming to take your home away from you. Ever thought about planning for the future, or do you liberals ever think about it?

And TRUMP WON in spite of not releasing his tax returns. GO figure.

It is amusing to observe so many on the left in panic mode since the impossible happened to them....Trump WON! I hate to gloat and it makes me ill, but the left brings out the worst in us. I love that phrase "suck it up butter cup."

Remember four years ago when Romney lost. That was a suck it up buttercup time for a lot of people also. Ask Karl Rove.

Totally correct, and we did. And we did not cry and protest in the streets, did we Chi? Look at the left, crying in the streets and in the colleges. Grown ups. Wow, how childish and immature. I did not like the last eight years, but I lived with it. I didn't protest in the streets or ask for a safe zone. I sucked it up and lived through it. Time for you libtards to grow up and quit demanding that everyone else (the government) to prop you up and care for you. I certainly hope that PC is dead. Time for an awakening. Time for the left to pull their own weight and quit demanding the wealthy to "share" their wealth.

I had more respect for the left when they were campaigning, even their dirty campaigning than I do now with their peevish crying and protesting. What a bunch of pathetic and pitiful losers! This is typical of those that believe that all the kids deserve a trophy if they participated. These losers are devastated. I apologize for not sympathizing with them. I have too much scorn for their disruptive and unsportsmanship-like activities.

They are waiting for their transportation grant to be approved.

This election has been the most divisive in modern history. The coming year will be truly an experience of a lifetime. If Trump turns out to be a liberal in his actions or Alt Right, what to do. I suggest moving to Australia. Milder almost Florida like climate. When the nuclear war starts we'll have a few extra months to live before the fallout gets us. Enjoy!!

Probably not the most divisive, but pretty close. Obama winning was pretty divisive. Of course, Obama has been more divisive since his election than probably during the campaign. Obama is the reason Trump won, or at least one of the reasons. Obama has been the most unpresidential so far. He campaigned for Hillary, talking dirty about Trump. That is not like any presidents before him. The media also lied about Trump and dirtied the campaign. Now, all the little lefties are in shock and have to have safe places and puppies for comfort.

We all should have known better...has their EVER been a successful black led country? No. And America wasn't the exception, NOTHING improved during "his watch". We went another $10 trillion in debt. Hispanics are well on the way to being the majority. We've dropped even further...from #17 to #23 in many rankings. Quotas and reduced standards are still killing business.

Trump will be no better I'm afraid...he did get elected as an R after all. His picks are all right down the R party line. The new boss will be the same as the old boss but at least he won't be promoting blacks and making them uppity.

Lest we forget. When "W" Bush was President he signed off on almost all the legislation that came before him. Deregulation of the investment banking industry being one of them. Fueled by terminal greed and consumer ignorance, people with $40,000 household incomes were suddenly qualified for $400,000 mortgages. Not a problem, these mortgages were insured and if the buyer defaulted the insurer would reimburse the lender. These insured mortgages were sold to large investors including governments who thought they were covered. Defaults started and the insurers couldn't cover the losses. Therefore, the "Great Recession". Markets collapsed. Thankfully, the Bush administration had folks who figured out a bailout. When Obama was voted in he inherited the problem. He was elected because America was in a panic and didn't trust another Republican. Obama's reward is many Republicans took an oath to the Party that the President would fail. Kinda UnAmerican, but appealing to many. Not enough jobs created. Obamas fault. Now we have Trump. America believed that despite a history of bankruptcies, lawsuits and failure to pay contractors , he has the skills America needs to "MAGA". "Past performance is no indication of future results"???

The roots of the Mortgage Crisis were well sown in the Admin of one Bill Clinton . The " Party " was well underway and far out of control before "W" took the " Oath " .
The entire system was " fed " by Clinton appointees and those in his Admin who controlled the various Regulatory Agencies which all " fed the fire " .

Gotta love it when someone says "he inherited it" like he didn't volunteer and run for the job. Obama didn't know what he was getting himself into, right? He was just a naive country boy from Chicago. He blew it, he failed.
