The post is not about the radio station but you folks who are outraged in one case and very accepting in another. It is repulsive no matter what party is involved. |

Sandra Fluke is a 30 year old political activist with the admitted agenda of changing Harvard to suit her vision. Your "crux" is disingenuous. |

Check the Rush Limbaugh timeline.

Sandra Fluke is a private citizen not a politician in office nor running for office nor one accused for misdeeds needing a recall. She is a third year law student at Georgetown not Harvard. Many law students have been activists before going to law school. Does not mean anything. |
I can certainly agree with Richie that the nastiness DOES happen on both sides. I've seen it time and time again.
The comments on the Lt. Governor were certainly not *justified*, IMO. It's like how, although I'm a fan of Bill Maher, his comments on Sarah Palin were out of line. It demonstrated to me an uncharacteristic laziness in coming up with words to describe his feelings towards her. |

I don't care who she is...citizen or politician...rebublican or democrat or tea party... I don't care if she is in the public limelight and should "get it". This woman did not deserve to be treated like this...it absolutely disgusts me. NO ONE...absolutely NO ONE deserves to be talked about in this way. She is the mother of two children, for God's sake. What about her family? Quote:

This seems like a bramble bush for free speech. No matter what I say someone will take offense with it. So I am off of this topic. If you feel so strongly about it write the Madison WI radio station with the radio personality that made these comments about the WI Lt. Gov. His station link is http://www.wtdy.com/. The guy I assume is Sly in the Morning. http://www.wtdy.com/content/SLY-58.html |

How do you make this distinction of what slutty talk is ok....you say it does not deserve the same outcry....WHY ? Because Fluke is a better person ? Because Fluke is a Democrat ? I suspect you that you feel it is fine to get into the gutter name calling FIRST because she is an elected official and SECOND because someone has claimed she did something wrong. WOW......I did not know that you could say this stuff about folks in certain situations.....SO Using the logic suppled by you....Rep Maxine Waters, who is currently under probe by the ethics comm of the house is open to this vile language because she is an elected official and is under investigation. Now that is what you said....please tell me where I went wrong |

I guess they would say that it's to be expected because she is a politician and that she should "get it" and that it should be "expected" because she is in the limelight. Imagine the outrage had it been Waters that was being slandered in this way. Disgusting....absolutely disgusting. |

The worst of it is, that they are seemingly oblivious to their hypocrisy. |
Both liberals and conservatives use ugly nasty words with their rants. How about trying the middle for a while where understanding lives.

The reactions to the "words" are different for liberals, like you, depending on whose mouth those words are emanating from. You are off track here, as is the other poster who I'm trying to correct the course of. You still have a problem with making things personal. I'm flattered that you think my words are so important that you have to deviate from the thread to personally address my words and attack me personally for them You are not the first poster on this forum to become obsessed with all that I say, but It's still a bit creepy. |
