I had considered voting for Senator John McCain too as the Republicans were the most helpful with my 224 613 Project and Joe Biden probably wrote me the stupidest response I received back in 1991 when he was Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee. I had no contact with Barack Obama that I can recall with the 224 613 Project until much later and that would have been while trying to explain to Obama Care people my situation.

Then Sarah Palin started making rather stupid comments on the campaign trail and I worried about her becoming President at some point. I still fret about Joe Biden becoming President but that window is closing fast.

I like what Donald Trump has done with shaking up both the Republican and Democratic political establishment but he has yet to offer any practical policies and I do worry about trusting the man if he gets into the most powerful political office in the world. We very much need checks-and-balances now after Barack Obama's heavy use of Executive Privilege and it seems that Donald Trump would be even worse with not following the mandates of the US Constitution.

I will have to see what kind of performances the eventual candidates deliver in the various Presidential debates to see whom I will vote for in November of 2016. If Donald Trump is one of these and has offered mature policies for this country then I MIGHT vote for him. It really depends on how realistic the policies offered are by the various candidates and how much these fit in with the US Constitution and the values that are expressed by the Founding Fathers. They did fear demagogues quite a bit and rightly so.

I do not find much of what Bernie Sanders puts out there as remotely going to become reality through the workings of the US Congress. I do not expect the Congress to help very much with his agenda.

Hillary Clinton has done some wonderful work helping the underdogs in the US legal system. Granted you do have to check much of what she says with her previous record and she is a professional politician and a highly skilled lawyer. Congress will just have to do its job as will the media if she becomes President.

I do not believe much of the media has handled President Barack Obama in a suitable manner of examining his policies in a very critical way.

I could understand if Ben Carson didn't know how much a wall would cost. I can understand if Trump does not understand brain surgery.

It is you that has no concept of how to construct a wall. Don't blame Trump for not explaining to you something that you probably would not understand anyway. Folks either want border security or the don't. Please don't give the reason as "it can't be done" or "it will cost too much" Neither liberals or conservatives have worried about the cost of anything in the past. The both just continue to spend, regardless of the debt incurred.

Personally, I would have no problem with arming the border with snipers and allowing them to fire at any invaders. Of course, I would post Trespassing signs first.

Why do you need to understand? Did you question Kennedy when he said he wanted to put a man on the moon? Did you ask him how he could do such a ridiculous thing? Did you ask for details? How much fuel, what kind of guidance system, etc? Why make excuses? If you want the illegal Aliens to take American jobs, break the law and abuse our system, then just admit it. You don't need to hide it under the guise of "explain how he is going to build a way or I don't believe he can do it."

Trump was asked "How high will the wall be." He said "30 feet". The next question was "Couldn't someone just use a 30 foot ladder?" He said "Yes, but how would they get down on the other side. Then he added. I suppose they could use a rope."

He certainly gave this a lot of thought. It's not that hard to understand. It's not going to the moon. Even Kennedy knew how a ladder worked 50 years ago.

Do you think if there is a wall we might also begin enforcing that nobody goes over the all. How? Well let us just let each person fantacize their own method.

They use walls around prisons and that seems to work pretty well. Yeah we all know there is a break out from time to time. Try to focus on the aspect of enforcement. Nobody gets over the wall.

We know it is a foreign notion to some to enforce the laws and the rules.

You have to concede there comes a time when permissive behavior just doesn't cut it. Enforce the laws that are on the books.

Nobody gets over the wall. It is so easy.

Why [do] people vote for Trump?
I have always felt it had something to do with the way he answers questions, his sentence structure and choice of words. I don't remember any other politician talking the way he talks.
