Do you know the home addresses and dates of birth of those service workers you mentioned as well as what voting precinct they are registered in? That is information you would have to have before being allowed to vote - even if a photo ID is not needed.

Besides that, most polling places are open well before the working day begins and closes well after the working day ends. In Maryland, where I came from, polls were open at 7 am and closed at 9 pm.

I realize your post was meant in humor.

Since I want to vote early and often (shhh) I will need to get some information from all our vendors and such and insure that I get a complete resume from everyone we come in contact with. :sigh:

I'm trying to get the word out in Wisconsin that Republicans are to vote today, and the Democrats are to vote tomorrow :)

Guest 06-05-2012 04:15 PM

after following this story fairly closely watching both Fox and CNBC reading both sides of the arguement it is rather obvious that no one really knows the truth. You may think you do but you don't. Both sides lie, tell half-truths,and spin everything their way,NO EXCEPTIONS. What I have realized however is that it doesn't matter anymore BIG MONEY talks and the rest of us are just pawns in the system. Unless there is true campaign finance reform all of us are just spinning our wheels. We can have some fun on this board but our words mean nothing unless one of you is a billionaire,a corporation,a union boss or some other entity with a lot of money. Millions in Wisconsin, billions in the national election, what a waste.

Some precincts are reporting as high as 90% voter turnout, presidential year records. Democrats have 440 recount lawyers on the ground, and Republicans probably have a like amount, unless they're sure they will win in a landslide. It could be a long night, or weeks, or months.

Make that 119%

This did not require any post from me for sure, but since I pretty much always disagree with you, I needed to take this opportunity to agree with you.

Let them debate a few times ON THE ISSUE..let us know where they stand and what they plan and we vote.

President Obama is going to need som cash cows to counter the Republican spending in this election. It is going to all come down to who has the best marketing.

Let the spin begin!

Guest 06-06-2012 08:05 AM

I would say the people lost they still have jobs

Guest 06-06-2012 08:07 AM

They can spin until they are dizzy and it doesn't make a damn bit of difference.

People got a good dose of first class liberalism the last three and a half years and they see what an abject failure it is and always has been.

There of course will always be the cradle to grave government worshipers but that won't change Obama's crushing defeat coming in Nov.

The 2010 mid terms and now Scott Walker is only a small little preview.

Wisconsin Recall Election: Scott Walker, Tom Barrett Make Final Push

Looks like Scott Walker will win this one according to all the polls of Wisconsin voters.

I slept very well last night after watching MSNBC the Bend Over station with all their excuses for the Dems losing.

Never was much of a detail oriented person. But a phrase comes to mind...."forgive them for they know not what they do".....from some best-selling book. :ohdear:

No matter which side of the political fence you are on, doesn't it make you feel good that the citizens of Wisconsin were able to voice their opinion and vote for their candidate - without the riots or killing like in lots of other countries.

The US Constitution guarantees this right and it works!

Guest 06-06-2012 12:33 PM

the dems that are fed up with what they bought in 2007 helped the win last night.....as they were chanting forgive us for we knew not what we did.......

I wish there was a "LIKE" button on TOTV like on Facebook. It would be nice to be able to just click that you "LIKE" somebody's post instead of having to "quote" it and then say you liked it.

If I could I would have clicked "LIKE" on Buggy's post No.60, and BTK's post No.61

I wonder if anyone else "likes" this idea? I wonder how hard it would be to do.

Guest 06-06-2012 02:36 PM

If a 'like' option is added I would also suggest a 'dislike' option.:ohdear:

i also like buggy's #61 about the constitution guaranteeing our right to vote, but i am concerned that the refusal to remove illegals, felons and deceased from our voter rolls by the Injustice Dept is having the result of disenfranchising the rightful voters....glad gov scott is sticking to his guns.

Based on the history of terminology used on the political forum there will certainly have to be a third button....dislike with name calling...:)
