I recently watched the 1957 classic "The Bridge Over The River Kwai" and thought to myself that Alex Guiness"s character was analogous to Obama voters. They mistakenly lean on an idea of a bridge being so well built but forget the bridge's sole purpose is to bring destruction in fact to sow the seeds of their destruction. Liberals hang on to this idea called "Obama" failing to recognize that it can only lead to their destruction but the bridge, the idea of Obama is all that matters and they can see no further.

I got my first house with a loan underwritten (guaranteed) by the Veterans Administration. That was a big help from the Government. This was because I was a veteran. My father got his first house with a VA loan, also, because he was a veteran.

That might be where you got the loan but who paid for it who went to work to make the payments not obama not the government this guy is talking through his a-- he's a high school kid trying to make excuses for every thing he does

my father was REJECTED from several branches of service and could never have the help of a veteran's program. he lost out again. thank you for your service...i credit you and all of the vets as the most important group of people who helped me get where i am today! i cannot say that for a group of politicians! ;)

How do any posters on this forum think that Mitt Romney could have any empathy for the middle class? Did he ever have to get a mortgage on any of his six mansions? Did he ever have to apply for a college loan? He recently told a group of young people if they needed money for college or to start a business to "borrow it from their parents". What planet does he live on?

Romney also said he "doesn't care about the poor" and he "likes firing people".
