We are new and looking to buy a home in the Village of Linden. The Golf Cart App doesn't show an easy way to get to Brownwood via Golf Cart. Or to the Aviary Rec Center and the new Saw Grass Mills area. Are there not golf cart paths from that area designed yet? Will they not be put in place? Thanks for any information, not sure if I want to buy off Warm Springs Rd. if we can't get to the entertainment areas via Golf Cart.

The Village of Linden has a Facebook group with 740 members, so joining that would be a great help once you have purchased a home.

Village of Linden also has a Next Door Group, that would be very informative for finding out about your neighborhood for those who actually live there.

As Bogie mentioned, your salesman if showing homes in that Village, should of showed you the amenities for that area.

You'll find 95% of the posters on this message board live in the established Villages, so were really not familiar with the new area, plus that area is growing so quickly new paths and bridges are always opening up.

A quick glance at the map shows Linden as being on the southside of the Turnpike, so as far as golf cart travel you'll be limited to staying on that side of the Turnpike until one of the two bridges under construction across the Florida Turnpike is opened. If you don't have a salesman, I would suggest getting one, go to the sales office at Brownwood. Also they will be able to give you a map, and the new areas to a certain extent should be included.

The Waterlily bridge by the Village of Deluna will open in March (as has been projected) and then it will be a quick ride to the Village of Brownwood from the Linden area. As I understand it, you can take a long ride to the Sawgrass area once that bridge opens; there is another bridge planned that will make that ride a lot shorter, but that will be some time. Happy hunting. Marsh Bend is lovely and has Edna's with entertainment, food and drinks!

Plenty of beautiful, senic cart paths and places to go from Linden. Publix and other store/restaurants start opening in early March. And as others posted, access to Brownwood and the rest of the Villages will be complete when the Waterlilly opens in the early spring.

There are many additional amenities in progress and planned within the next few years with Linden more or less in the center of things new.

No- the App is correct now. NO easy golf cart access at this time. THere will be in the future once bridges are done.

We are in McClure, right next door. As stated above, today, you cannot get there from here. The Waterlilly bridge, when it opens, is about 15 minutes from where we are (we need to backtrack down Fenney to get to the path that goes to the Warm Spring Crossover). Brownwood will then be a nearly half hour drive.
There is another bridge in the planning that will get you directly over to Sawgrass. That is years out Im guessing. When you drive up the turnpike, you can see the stone bridge near the rest area where it will be going.
Fenney and Marsh Bend are lovely areas, but i feel they are stand alones for cart travel. Much easier to get to Brownwood by auto.
We are building in St Catherine. It solves the crossing the turnpike problem nicely.

That is correct... Before we can add directions by Golf Cart out there, we have to wait for all of the multi-modal paths to be finished and then once the GIS data is available to us from the city, we can show those paths for golf cart paths in the app.

We will notify everyone through the notifications in the app as soon as it is available.
