We are so happy to announce the LONG AWAITED and brand new Villages GPS app which is available for all Apple and Google Android users in your app store. Simply from the phone, you will be using when driving, go to the app store and search "Villages GPS". We also want to thank all the support to all those who have been with us over the past 5 years now!! With no additional money to you of course, we are so excited and happy to announce that the new Rebuilt and Redesign has all new code from our new developers! We talked to hundreds of our users, listened to all the feedback, implemented it and so much more!!

MAKE SURE TO UPDATE but also......Before you update:
Please write down or take a screenshot of all of your Favorites. The one thing that couldn't be done was saving your past marked favorites since the app was rebuilt. We don't ever anticipate this again and you can easily check again your favorites in the newly updated app. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Before you contact us we want you to know:
We added a very small Ad at the very bottom of the app. It cost us a small fortune to rebuild the app from scratch. The mapping license is an additional cost that we didn't have before as well. Please know we didn't raise the price of the app as we hope the ad covers this additional cost. FYI - During Navigation you will not see the ad as it's only on the menu.

Including an entirely new look, here is a list of some of the improvements:

* 24 Hr. Golf Cart Roadside Assistance
* American English voice
* All sections have easy sort results by “Distance” based on your location
* You can now Rotate your device horizontal
* You can zoom in and out without screen problems.
* Point to Point now shows you times and distance by Golf Cart routes
* All new locations/places near Fenney
* "Take a Tour Section" in the “More" section shows you what every function does for each part of the app.
* Version of the App is in the "More Section"
* We have a new Facebook Page Villages GPS - Home | Facebook Please “Like” our page. We will be adding some “Did you know’s” on there.

Hopefully, you will like everything we have done and tell all of your friends and family. If you don’t like it… Don’t tell them (LOL)!

HOW TO GET THE UPDATE:

ANDROID Version 3.5
If for some reason it didn’t automatically update. follow these steps to manually update it.

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Touch the Menu icon (3 lines)
3. My Apps.
4. Apps with available updates are labeled "Update."
5. Select "Villages GPS" and touch Update.

iPhone Version 22
1. Go to your App Store App
2. Click the Update button on the bottom right.
3. Find Villages GPS
4. Click Update

Everytime I try to open the app it says Internet not available check your internet connectivity and try again. I'm on the internet and can use every other app and goolge on my phone.

If anyone is still having issues, please follow these steps:

Let’s do a Delete and Reboot the app following these exact Steps.

1. Delete the app
2. Turn off and then back on your phone.
3. Click App Store App
4. Click Search and enter "Villages GPS App"
5. Click on the "Cloud with an Arrow pointing Down".
6. Wait until it says Open... The click Open
7. Click “Allow” when the Popup asks.

Then try the app again.

The program HAS improved, but the map does not move with you as you drive. You drive but the map does not advance. You have to swipe it to your location, which is dangerous to do while driving. Can you fix this?

Have an Apple phone. I deleted old app and downloaded new one. Sill freezing at the Get Started button as other person recently noted. Am doing this from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, but can't believe that would affect the download. Help please! Thanks in advance.

It's strange... Most iPhones are working great but there are a few that are getting hung up like that.

Our developers have been notified and we will add a message here as soon as they have a fix.

I have followed your instructions three times deleting the app, turning my Android phone off and back on, reinstalling the app, clicking "Allow" for the pop ups and still get the same error message. "Internet not available, Cross check your internet connectivity and try again."

Just used the new version for the first time. Works great except for one small problem. Our house is the second on the left in our neighborhood and the App wanted to route us further into the neighborhood through the villas and back out. The voice commands are somewhat truncated. It would be nice if that could be fixed.

Sorry but the ads have ruined this app for me. Free versions of apps often use ads to re-coup development costs. Paying for the product is supposed to spare you the annoyance
