I have been a long time user of The Villages GPS. Initially, I used to use it to find individual’s houses and houses that were listed as open houses In the Villages Daily Sun. Now, when I put in an address, the app simply keeps cycling between “start” and “directions by golf car” or “directions by car.” It will simply not give me directions if I actually put in an address. Curiously, the “Villages app” which is totally free does, in fact, work from point to point. What’s going on here? It used to work. Does anyone know why it doesn’t work now?

Hi and Thank you for contacting us.

Point to Point is just a bonus feature we added only meant to get directions from two different places that you’re Not currently at.

When you click start it gives you the option to see the time and distance it takes to get from those two places by golf cart or automobile.

This is Not Navigation Directions…

To get Directions with Navigation… Find the place you want to go to and once you find it, click directions by Automobile or Golf Cart.

Now you are good to go
