Where can I get a status of the GPS app in order to know if it is up or down?
I know it wasn’t working Friday but it isn’t working today either.
Is it just me ;-)
Could this be a ‘user error’ :-)

Hi I’m new to The Villages just arrived this morning Monday the 20th I also have the same message error on the GPS which is not working and then he’ll be frustrated for paying seven dollars hope someone gets a sink fixed and let us know thanks

Unfortunately last week we were hacked… now we need to update to the very latest code. That is going to take a couple of days but we are going as fast as possible so it doesn’t happen again.

As for your information... we don't get any information at all about you, our users at all. That all goes through the App Store and Play Store so nothing to be worried about.

We are just a couple of Villagers and it has been a rough week to say the least.

We really want you to get the correct directions, so for now we are asking you to use The Developers App for now until we get this updated.

As soon as we are back up and running, we will post again here.

When you launch the app and it pops up an error message, the app is down. When it works with no error message, it’s up.

My Villages GPS is failing to load as well. Been this way for a few days

I'm sure most everyone appreciates them taking time to provide updates. Quite sure they are very busy and likely extremely tired from unexpectantly working long hours. They got the information out, and a typo is irrelevant. THEIR post was helpful.

Villages GPS Team...Thank you for updating us. I love your app a lot better than the other free app and I will always support you because you are Villagers!

It's a shame the world we live in now would rather tear people down for a simple spelling mistake when all they are doing is trying to help others.
