Default very slow, cart icon jumps and off

We have two new androids with verizon service. After receiving our phones we were excited to try the TV GPS program. We immediately found it is really, really, really slow and renders the program virtually unusable. The tracking cart icon shows way off of the cart path then jumps "as if" it is correcting to the correct location but is not.

Is there something we can try to make this program work?

Why don't you post the fix on here so others can correct the problem if they have it?

Hi Biker Dog,

The reason is there could be a few things going on....
Sometimes it could take a few emails back and forth and we just don't like to try and figure it out over a bunch of threads that could potentialy mess other users that may read it.

Most likely is cel service in the area the user was at that time. Could also be while inside a tunnel etc. We don't have any reports of issues with any brand new Android devices.

People who have older Android devices may need to update their Operating System... Etc, Etc Etc...

That is why we would like to handle each issue one on one in emails so we can give them our individual support for the device they are using.

We hope that makes sense.

RCM1210,
Did you have your GPS function turned on? On our android phones, Galaxy S5, the GPS location service can be turned on and off. I would think if it was off, and you were relying on the cell towers for location, that you would get exactly what you are describing. I had seen similar results using the Verizon map service when I forgot to turn on the GPS service. NOTE: I generally keep this OFF, because so APPs have access to this data, and could be reporting back to some central location where I am.
Hope this helps.

Cool

Just an FYI.....unless you're putting your phone in "airplane" mode, it is always reporting your location to a central location...no data required!
