Default Village GPS app down for 3 days

App down..tried to delete and re install..no luck..

Sent email to support..no answer..

Hi Wayne, sorry, we haven't received any emails from you. We checked our spam file as well.

The app is working fine. Here are some steps you can take to try and fix any issues:

1. Turn off and back on your phone and try again.
2. Try closing the app, turning off the WiFi on your phone, then try the app again.
3. Delete the app and reinstall it again… when you open the app, click Ok or Allow to any popups.
4. If you are trying the app inside of your home, try it outside away from your home. Sometimes there can be interference inside.
5. If your phone has a VPN activated, it won’t work. Please disarm that and try again.

Also not working for me for last 2-3 days. Tried all the suggested things to fix without a fix. Im running android 12. App opens and runs ok. I select a favorite location and select Directions by cart...all looks ok. When I click Start, the map loads for a flash then app jumps to the Home screen.

Hey Android users.

We know that some of you are having trouble with our app on certain types of phones.

Not all Android users are having issues and are telling us it works fine.

Our developers are working on a fix as quickly as possible, and we'll let you know as soon as it's available.

We really don't want those of you affected to get lost... So in the meantime, we suggest using the Developers App.

Yes, I have the free app as well but do not believe that is the "Developers App"
I also prefer the paid for app over the free one. When it works of coarse.

Well, the "Free" app is put out by "The Developer", using TV Logo, so...

The "Pay App" uses a Compass as it's logo...

Just so you know, we received your email at 6:24 this morning and replied back at 9:03. Please let me know if you didn't receive it for some reason.

Regarding the Android issues... we have to replace all of our code due to changes related to the Play Store's changes. Our developers have been working day and night for a week. It is a ton of code to do.

We are hoping it will be ready by Monday.

We will send a message here on TOTV and send those of you who emailed us as soon as it's done.

Trust me; we want everyone to be as happy as possible. We are just a couple of Villagers trying our best.

Yes, I am well aware you responded to my email quickly yesterday. However, the 1st email that was sent to you on 9/3 at 5:17am was not/has not been answered. I know, you checked all your folders and no email was received, blah, blah, blah, I got it. Im over it now and would just like to see a working app again. Appreciate all the hard work in getting it up and running again.

Villages GPS 5.1 is now available!

Head to the Play Store to download the latest version.

Some users may receive the update automatically.
To check if you have the latest version, open the app, tap More Info, and then App Version.
How to update your app:

Open the Google Play Store app.
Tap the profile icon in the top right corner.
Tap Manage apps & device.
Tap Updates available.
Tap Update next to the app you want to update.
