We live south of 44. While using the GPS App (the one we pay for) the directions are constantly changing and sometimes giving us totally incorrect information. My iPhone is updated and quite new. Does this happen to anyone else?

Not constantly but frequently when at a point where there are multiple paths intersecting. Adding to the confusion is how the route path is not updated to remove what is behind you, i.e., where you have already traveled.

There definitely seems to be a few places where this routinely happens. Possibly due to a spot where signal is poor due to heavy tree canopy or low spot. Doesn’t happen every time but two spots I can think of is near Lake Miona Rec and near the putting practice area by Palmer.
I have noticed this to be pretty consistent in volume in past 2 years so would say it is less of an app issue and more environmental in certain spots.
All in all the app is really good in my opinion and pretty impressive considering how it was developed and now supported.

Hi, and thank you for your comments.

Down in the newer sections, there are some data missing that we are trying to get.

So that you know, we are just a couple of Villagers like yourself and are not affiliated with "The Developer.”

Unfortunately, we have to wait for the latest GIS from The Developer to go public with the latest data we need to add any new multi-model paths and/or roads.

We update a lot of things in the background, and new things are being loaded when you open the app. It will show up as soon as we get that data in.

We really want you to get directions… so we suggest you get The Developers app until we get your area updated.

Hopefully, they will release that new GIS information soon so we can update it asap.
