I stayed in the Villages for the first time over the winter. I found the VillagesGPS very useful at first but by the end of 3 months it was starting to lose its usefulness. I will note that I played 20 executive courses over the 3 months — it helped in determining how to get to many of them.

As some of the responders have stated, if you are riding by yourself, it can be difficult to use. I always mapped out On the VillagesGPs my destination before leaving, got familiar with turns that I wasn’t Familiar with, and that helped greatly.

One observation that you should be aware of is that, unlike car GPSs, the VillagesGPS does not adjust the route if you miss a turn so that can make it difficult.
