I don't wish to scare you even more, but the force is calculated using the square of the speed, so a 160 mph wind has FOUR times the force of an 80 mph wind.

And where did the measure this speed? From the aircraft? In the eye wall 20 to 30 thousand feet up? I wouldn’t thing at ground level the wind that strong? If so there might be nothing left but sand and even that might get blown away?
