Default Another Florida Weather 101 Talk

This talk has been cancelled because of Voting activities that day.

The talk called "Florida Weather 101" has just been scheduled for Nov 7 at 1 PM at the Everglades Rec. Center for the Science & Technology Club - South. Presentation discusses heat-lightning, and why some storms have lightning while others don't. Why clouds move at different directions at different heights, and how sea-breezes and trade-winds control much of Florida's daily weather. See video how dry-lines produce bigger storms, and why The Villages is in a tornado "dead zone" when it comes to Doppler weather radar warnings.
