Excellent observation. According to the UAH global satellite data, this year (during the Jan - Aug time period) the earth has been 0.07 degrees Celsius warmer than last year -- but the year is not over yet and the sun is in its winter descent. However, looking at the last 7 years of annual satellite temperature data, we are in a very slow cooling trend.

That offers a bit of optimism. Thanks :BigApplause:

Orlando Channel 6 meteorologist two minutes ago said “today was 27th day in a row where the temperature was above normal”. Just saying…

Is he actually a meteorologist with an actual degree?

Please define what "normal" means -- how many years -- it makes a big difference. Please identify where the thermometer is located ... this is very important because are incorrectly located and those in bigger cities suffer from heat-island affect. Also, if that temperature report you quoted comes from NOAA sources, then please beware of this ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BQMyjfyGfw
