Default Window film

Has anyone put film on their east facing to cut down on the heat .
Has it made a difference and did it work

We had it installed on the west side of our house.....there was some difference but it was minimal. The home office is in the front bedroom so it faces west where the sun gets intense. It was a compromise as I could have gone with a darker film but that would make the view darker as well. Don't think the film is a game changer

yes we had it installed last year at our villa
call Larry Barney at Advance Solar tinting-

we had thee quotes and Larry was half the price of the others and the job he did was great

Yes. I added it to our two master bedroom windows (east facing). The film helps quite a bit. According to a digital laser thermometer, the difference was about 24 degrees cooler after applying the film. I used Gila brand Platinum-Heat-Control Adhesive Window Film.
