Default Garage overhead screen door recommendations

We are looking to have an overhead screen door installed in our garage. Specially, we want a door that opens/closes with a clicker just like our regular garage door, but operates on its own independent track system and has a screen that allows us to see out but provides privacy from others looking in. Recommendations from others who have this set up would be greatly appreciated : )

Shade Brothers sells one like that. We have one on our garage. Separate tracks but it rolls up. It is not a solid framed door. We can see out, but nobody can see in. They have the best range of colors than the others we looked at. You can come over and look at ours if you like.

Very happy with ours from Thumpers. They have also provided great service on our regular door as some others seem reluctant once you install a second door.

We've done business with Michelle's and they are a great company to do business with.

Skeeter Beeter (Barlow's Tri County Screens) roll up/down screen.
Comes with three remotes and one permanent wall switch.
When the screen is down it is (almost) impossible to see in from the street.

One of the best features is if "someone" backs into the screen it has pop out tracking that gives way and can be re-threaded back into the track.....not giving any indication who in our family has proven it works!
We have had ours for 10 years.
Minimal maintenance required.

I agree ,we have one for 7 years only problem I backed the golf cart into it . No damage and was easily put back in the track. Kevin is great does excellent work and does his own repair . Skeeter Beeter. Recommended.

Love my garage screen but it rolls up when not in use.
Garage Door Company Orlando, FL | Tampa, FL | DGD

Several screen types. Mounts outside on wall so does not limit Vehicle height or require garage door track to be moved.

Thumper (cook aluminum) gets my vote. The one on our house is 8 years old and rocking steady. We’ve only owned the house for 1 year so far.

Depending on ur garage door size - read that as weight - if u have a low quality and/or 1/2 hp DC garage door opener on the heavy door - you may need to change ur opener for another. Thumper will honestly advise on that issue.

It’s very slick how the screen door merges onto the existing door track during the opening/closing travels.

Limiter switches are installed on both doors to avoid running one on top of the another.

We used Barlows Tri-county screens - Skeet'r Beater. They are the only company that has the screen & motor on the inside of the garage. They have 80% blocking and 95% blocking UV, etc. We chose the 80% blocking because we face east & don't get the afternoon sun.
