My husband decided to go back home and to wait and see if it ever happens again. I am assuming it was a seizure. Unless someone knows what else it could be. We never experienced anything like this before. We were just wondering if anyone else had gone through anything like this?

YES, YES - just went through this with our Sheltie. Scared the heck out of me. Took her to the vet immediately and he said it is common for dogs to have these seizures and they just don't know why. Ran tests and could find no reason for the seizure. That was about a month ago and she has been fine ever since. Seems to happen in older dogs. My girlfriend's boxer has them all the time, especially when he has been out in the heat. Of course the tests cost a fortune but at least it didn't happen again. I wouldn't worry too much.
