So painting with a broad brush might be appropriate to the circumstances in this case. And yes they are absolutely entitled to a vigorous defense. And I suspect they will all get off except for the failure to seat belt the victim, which is seemingly a very minor element of the charge. Our Supreme court has ruled that while I as a citizen am obligated to follow laws of which I am not aware "ignorance of the law is no excuse" they have done the exact opposite for cops. You know the group that is supposed to know the laws. Cops can act contrary to a law and that is ok as long as it was "in good faith".
And just how do you know what any of the 6 officers were doing or did or did not?

And just like reminding a little kid....how about you stop using the general condition language and inferences....if it was at all it was one or two or six....."cops" as you like to generalize.

The military has been emasculated to a point they are not allowed to engage when threatened.
Now we are treating the law enforcement is this country as if they are the bad guys. They are not. Eventually they will begin to play it safe and not enforce for fear of doing something that MAY displease somebody.

Let's all hope that you or none of the rest of us are getting the crap beat out of us and the law plays it safe to see how it turns out.

Let justice be served but stop bad mouthing those who are sworn to serve and protect us. And except for a small percentage of isloated cases that is what they do every day......
