The military has been emasculated to a point they are not allowed to engage when threatened.
Now we are treating the law enforcement is this country as if they are the bad guys. They are not. Eventually they will begin to play it safe and not enforce for fear of doing something that MAY displease somebody.

Let justice be served but stop bad mouthing those who are sworn to serve and protect us. And except for a small percentage of isloated cases that is what they do every day......

Apparently you chose to highlight a sentence as if it were somehow incorrect, the phrase
Cops can act contrary to a law and that is ok as long as it was "in good faith".
